An ICU patient monitor shows some of the major functions of the body such as heart rate and rhythm, blood pressure, temperature of the body, breathing rate and oxygen saturation. At the end of each waveform is a number indicating what the patient's blood pressure, heart rate and other functions are. To be able to read the ICU monitory fully and properly, special training would be needed.

A display monitor needs some sort of input to drive the display. This can be a personal computer (PC). It can also be some other types of computers (midrange, mainframe), An external DVD or other media player, video game unit, or other source of input. There also needs to be a suitable and compatible cable connection to feed the monitor for it to work.

If you are using a crossover cable, simply assign static IP's to each machine (192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.3).

If using regular network cable, you will need to use a network switch or hub to connect them together, still using the static IP's for each machine.

You need a computer monitor because it's what displays the actual images on a computer. A computer without a monitor would be like having a television remote without the actual screen. The monitor is a crucial piece of the device, without which it is basically unusable.

we uses the crt monitors for displays the colors on the screen.the CRT monitors have a vacuum tube, which initialy filled with gases.the crt monitors have a electron gun, the electron gun consists a cathod,a anode and a focusing anode.initially we put a voltage on the anode which create a electric field between cathod and anode.when the electric field established the electrons are start moving from cathod to anode and this flow of electron is natural.the anode have a small hole between it and electrons are come with some velocity and have some mometum.Due to their momentum they cross the anod on the electron gun and strike on the crt screen called flouphorence.when the electrons are cross the anode through its hole then focusing anode on electron gun focus the electrons into a narrow beam.CRT also contain the two other plates known as vartical and horizontal plate.the horizontal plate make the horizontal adjustment of electron beam where as the vartical plates make vartical adjustment of electrons beam.

The crt screen are cover with phosphor and when electron beam strick on ctr screen's phosphor the phosphor of crt sreen get excited and they come energetic and then start emitting light so that they come into initial state.the time taken by phosphor to maitain the the light is called persistance.

the persistance is just like a resistance which resists the phosphor to release their energy come in to initial stage.there rae different type of phospor are use on the crt screen to produce color.majorly p1 p2 ......p7 p11 p12 p35 etc.

when the phosphor loses their energy become fade.to maitain the picture on the screen we needed such a mechanism to maintain the color of phosphor .we can maintain the phosphor color by refresing the light on the same point of posphor to maitain the color during certain period of time.this is called refrashed CRT.

LCD are the commanly use in small system such as calculator and portable laptop computer.these non as emmisive deviceproduce picture,by passing polorise light from the sourding or form internal light sousce then it is pass through a liqued cristal material that can be aline do either block or transmit the light.

Most laptop computers have a jack somewhere that will allow a standard computer monitor cable to be connected. Sometimes they are hidden behind panels that flip up, slide, or otherwise can be opened. If you have the manual, it will give the exact location of the jack, as well as describing the resolution and color selections possible.

If depends on what robot but most inputs would be telling it what to do! E.g. for a robotic crane the input would be to move down a certain degree, then up and then turn. The Outcome then being an object moved!

You would need either a S-Video, or HDMI out on the computer or a RGB or DVI in on the TV. If you have neither of these you can purchase a graphics card with HDMI out relatively cheap. Once installed you simply connect the cable. Anything less that HDMI/DVI will be hard to read as the resolution will be very low.

Is it turned on? If so check the video cable - is it unplugged or loose? If it looks ok try plugging into another computer - if it works on another computer then it is most likely a bad video card.

For Microsoft users:

If you want to know how to switch from one screen to another in different programs, use "Alt + Tab".

If you want to switch between multiple open documents in Microsoft Word, use "Ctrl + F6".

Computer monitors are typically measured and marketed by the diagonal length of the screen. The diagonal can be calculated by using the Pythagorean theorem; that is to take square root of the combined height squared plus the width squared.

If you have a video card which supports dual display then you can connect 2 monitors to your computer. If not then you can either buy one that supports it or you can also buy something called a KVM Switch which allows you to connect multiple monitors and switch between them.

A CRT Monitor can support many output resolutions without losing quality of the image. But LCDs only support lower resolutions by interpolating the image, which makes it look "fuzzy".

The top - where the screen is - is called the Monitor, and the bottom - where the CPU i.e. brain is - is named the Tower.

Switch them off and allow time for the CRT to discharge. Do not spray cleaner on the screen, spray it on the cloth. Only use a clean non-scratch cloth. Allow the screen to dry fully before switching back on.

Vacuums, Ipods, Cars, Television, Washing machines

There are a few possible reasons. If you really mean "on" the screen, not "in" the screen, it could be something pressing against it - such as a plastic keyboard protector "skin" if your screen closes tight against your keyboard. Any screen cleaner will remove it, though you'll have to repeat the process periodically. If it's in the screen itself, the most likely cause is failure of the control circuits for that row of pixels. (Each row has a control circuit, as does each column; the row and column control circuits cooperate to set the three color intensities of each pixel.) There is no inexpensive fix for this. If your laptop is under warranty, its manufacturer should fix it for you. If not, the cost will vary with the computer but it won't be cheap. If that's a concern, your best bet might be to find another computer of the same type that died for an unrelated reason, buy it for parts salvage value, and pay a service facility to swap the screens.
