A 32" tube television (A CRT television) was no larger than a flat screen 32" model from the front. The depth of was much larger. Typically, they were as much as 24" deep although manufacturers managed to compress the vacuum tubes to a rather shallower shape. Even the shallow tubes still resulted in a depth of 18" or more.

An even bigger difference was the weight. A flat screen 32" TV can be picked up in one hand. Most 32" CRT televisions needed two people to lift them.

Refresh rate (most commonly the "vertical refresh rate", "vertical scan rate" for CRTs) is the number of times in a second that display hardware draws the data. This is distinct from the measure of frame rate in that the refresh rate includes the repeated drawing of identical frames, while frame rate measures how a video source can feed an entire frame of new data to a display. For example, most movie projectors advance from one frame to the next one 24 times each second. But each frame is illuminated two or three times before the next frame is projected using a shutter in front of its lamp. As a result, the movie projector runs at 24 frames per second, but has a 48 or 72 Hz refresh rate.

You will either need a "dual-head" video card, or two video cards. Check that the medical monitor conforms to a PC standard - it may not. If it has a HD-15 or DVI video connector, then it should be standard - and easy to find a card that will work with it. If it has 3,4, or 5 BNC cables for video it will be much harder. In that case you need to look for a workstation graphics card - and probably something that is obsolete now. (Cheer up - that means it's cheaper!)

To use the full capabilities of this "high resolution" monitor, you may need to use a workstation graphics card even if the monitor has a standard connector. Check the refresh rate and resolution, and then compare with high-end consumer cards, and with workstation cards.

Some cards will support a very high refresh rate, but only at low resolution.

By "workstation card" I mean something like an nVidia Quadro or 3DLabs Wildcat or ATI FireGL. Note that these can cost upwards of $3000.

This means you need to get your CD Changer repaired. The in dash CD changers Nissan put into the Pathfinder is notorious for this issue. From what I recall, on the OE changer (by Clarion, I think) there is a plastic screw inside that controls the changing of the discs that breaks/wears out. If you take it to your local Clarion service place, they should know what to do with it.

When I brought mine in, the guy knew the vehicle it came from without hesitation. I think it cost about US$150 to fix.

They have to send it to California, so it took about 3 weeks to get back to me, but it works fine now.

It can be done, my son did just that but the details are very dependent on just what graphics card you have, just what TV monitor you have, your operating system, and some other stuff like cables and distances etc.

The diagonal lines across the monitor may indicate that there is an issue with the video card. Try the uninstall/reinstall process, then the monitor's Self Test facility. These actions should highlight any problems and hopefully remedy them.

Yes, and no. Ultimately the main concern when comparing graphic cards is the graphics chipset on the card. Example: Geforce 7 compared to 8 compared to 9 and so forth.

Your monitor could have becomed damaged on the move, the electricity socket dont work or the graphics card could have become damaged.
