its actually quite easy to fix,

1.go on to control panel.

2.type in 'mouse'

3.when it comes up, click on 'mouse'

4.then change the settings to mouse sensor.

5. then go onto mouse settings and ENABLE it,

6.you might not think you have disabled it but you actually have, its exactly what I did.

Get a USB hub. Then, plug it in one of your USB outlets on the other end they come in all sizes. There lots and types in store that are cheap.

if not then you can buy an adaptor.

I.E. if the mouse is bluetooth and the computer does not have it then you could buy a cheap adaptor

it really all sepends on your mouse if you clean it often with anti-bacterial wipes you shoul be good but if you are like many people and eat over your keyboard,drink over it, and are simply at it often without ever cleaning it can be up to 5 times dirtier than your toilet seat my suggestion if you don't clean it get some cleaning wipes they work for about 48 hours before you need to wipe your computer down again

To dismantle a Logitech M305 mouse.

First, you need to remove the battery cover by press the cover release button on the underside of the mouse.

Second, unscrew the one retaining screw near the center of the mouse under the battery cover.

Third, remove the feet, or desk pads, or little rubber pieces on the under side of the mouse to expose 4 screws

Fourth, remove the screws and lift off the cover.

The weight that a mouse can lift will depend on its size. It is estimated that mice can lift things that twice their body weight.

You can put your wireless mouse in a close contair of rice and let it sit there for a day or two it should work:) if it doesn't than you have to buy a new mouse.
