They can allow people to work from home - if they're unable to walk. They can even type for a person who is unable to use their hands - or perhaps are paralysed.

It is very unlikely that the "Internet" in its entirety could ever be shut down entirely; At least not by us anyway. The only way I can fathom the internet ever being shutdown completely would be via some sort of enormous global electromagnetic pulse (EMP). Nuclear blasts create enormous electromagnetic pulses...but if there were that many nuclear bombs being dropped to shutdown the net via EMP, we are pretty much screwed. However, if our sun had a bad enough solar flare directed towards earth, the EMI from the flare could knock out EMP sensitive equipment worldwide. I am not 100%, but I think although we might suffer from effects of radiation poisoning to some degree, we would live through such an event...and we would just rebuild...so the internet would return.

No unfortunley u cannot but you can use 1 if the two people don't mind having the same music on their apple mp3 player but that's just the case if they like the same music. I should know as i tried that with my sister but its very hard to do so i just brought a laptop and used it on there.

I have Windows XP and to take a picture of the screen takes no particular software other then to simply press the print screen button on the keyboard (top row third from the right) You can then go into word and simply paste the picture onto the page. If you only want a part of the picture on the screen open paint paste the picture on the paint screen and in paint you can select the part of the picture you want to keep ofter you have the picture you want in paint just save it as a jpg tiff or whatever you prefer into my pictures or your preferred album. you can even take pictures of movies on the screen that way if your timing is good without having to get any particular software that is not on the average computer anyway.

The AMI or Award BIOS id appears at the bottom of your screen after power on, during memory count up. The PAUSE key should work at that point, allowing you to write down the BIOS number, the BIOS date, and the version. You must copy it exactly. Computers are dangerous in the same sense as kitchen knifes are. If you know how to handle them they are not. However in our society computers are quite common and a basic understanding of computers is normally presupposed. Since however computers are more complex than kitchen knifes, there is a frightening amount of people who don't know how to use computers, don't care to learn that skill and don't admit to it out of fear of looking stupid. That is like "running around with scissors" and can do substantial damage (mainly financial loss). However it's not computers per se that are dangerous but careless use of computers. It all boils down to the stupidity of the users.

You should know all of the very basic things, such as opening tabs, browsers, programs. You should learn how the control panel works and what functions/tools are inside. Also check if the class has any prerequisites, that would tell you if there is anything for the certain class you are attending.
