Genesis 1 is not speaking of the original physical creation as the Earth is already there, under water and in darkness. It speaks of the renewal and the creation of man

John 1 speaks of the original creation by the Word who became Jesus Christ:

Revelation 21 tells us of the future headquarters of the God Family with all the Father's new spiritual sons and daughters on the New Earth - as the meek shall inherit the earth.

Biblical evidence reveals that when the earth was first created... all the angels whom God [Jesus Christ, the WORD - John 1:3] created, shouted in harmonious joy:

"...Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? ...Do you know how its dimensions were determined and who did the surveying? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?" (Job 38:4-7 NLT New Living Translation)

Further evidence suggests that God created a "chain-of-command" among the armies of angels who answered to their appointed commanders. Michael is named in the Bible as the most prominent and powerful angelic commander... who fought against another group of them who followed the rebellion of their angelic leader referred to as the "Dragon."

"Then there was war in heaven. Michael and the angels UNDER HIS COMMAND fought the Dragon and HIS ANGELS. And the Dragon lost the battle and was forced out of heaven." (Rev.12:7-8 NLT)

The "Dragon" is identified as "the Devil": "This great Dragon - the ancient Serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the ONE DECEIVING THE WHOLE WORLD - was thrown down to the earth with all his angels." (verse 9)

According to Jesus Christ, it was the LEADER of these defeated, rebellious angels who SINNED FIRST [broke the laws of God - I John 3:4]:

"...for HE IS A LIAR [Commandment 9] and the FATHER of lies." (John 8:44 NLT)

A "father" is the progenitor -- the "life-giver" -- the ORIGINATOR of something.

This powerful, once-perfect angelic leader of "one-third" of God's "stars" or "angels"; "...His tail dragged down one-third of the stars, which he threw to the earth..." - Rev.12:4 NLT) -- FATHERED, ORIGINATED SIN! He "GAVE LIFE TO DEATH!"

"You were blameless [KJV: perfect] in all you did from the day you were created UNTIL the day EVIL WAS FOUND IN YOU. Your great wealth filled you with violence, and YOU SINNED. So I banished you from the mountain of God. I expelled you, O mighty guardian, from your place among the stones of fire. Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings." (Ezek.28:15-17 NLT)

Sin entered the "angelic world"... and THE WORLD through the "self-corruption" of one of the commanders of one of the groups of God's angels. And he took his "one-third" of those angels with him.

The world is still, through the Dragon's deception of the world, unaware and/or unbelieving of this chapter of world history. It doesn't know that these angels were never Judged for their sins -- and that they are presently imprisoned on the earth, not permitted to leave, and are awaiting the conclusion of God's plan and their trial on JUDGMENT DAY.

"...God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell [tartaroo - not a 'place,' but a 'condition of spiritual restraint'], and delivered them into chains of darkness [physical chains can't hold angels... spirit beings; these 'chains' are a restraint of spiritual force], TO BE RESERVED UNTO JUDGMENT..." (II Peter 2:4 KJV).

"And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them chained in prisons of darkness, WAITING FOR THE DAY OF JUDGMENT." (Jude 1:6 NLT)

"Don't you realize that we Christians WILL JUDGE ANGELS?" (I Cor.6:3 NLT)

Originally created perfect -- "Lucifer," a trusted "guardian," commander and leader of one-third of God's created angels, SINNED FIRST... corrupting himself with all of the base uncaring attributes of utter selfishness and narcissism [shallow emotional traits that are the most natural to flesh and blood man]: envy, jealousy, lust, greed and hatred. The very things from which the world, today, is suffering and dying.

The Dragon [Satan] fathered it, originated it among his army of angels. They were cast onto the earth... and have been teaching their wicked ways to mankind, who is naturally prideful and egotistically subject to their influence and power.

"For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world... against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms." (Eph.6:12 NLT)

The Dragon... the Devil... Satan fathered SIN. It entered the angelic world through him. And in their defeat, they were cast down to earth where he introduced it to mankind when he whispered to Eve in the Garden of Eden, and coerced and convinced her and her husband to obey him, too.

The rest is the more well-known history of the world.

A rainbow is an example of refracted light, caused by refraction and dispersal of sunlight through water droplets in the air. Look at a glass or crystal prism; you'll see the same effect. Was that prism an example of intelligent design? We know the answer to that because we know somebody deliberately manufactured it. We cannot know about the rainbow. Whether the rainbow was designed by a higher intelligence is impossible to tell; that is a matter of personal belief. However a rainbow happens, it is still a thing of beauty and we should be grateful for such beauty in our lives. Maybe we don't actually need to stress over whether someone or something deliberately made it happen, but just enjoy. After all, do we question the existence of tiny kittens and little fluffy puppies? And would the decision to take one into our home be influenced by whether the little one was designed or just happened? It may indeed be debatable if rainbows are evidence of design. What is more intriguing is the fact that we can perceive a rainbow as beautiful at all. This would appear to have no evolutionary advantage. The fact that we see the beautiful colors, have discovered its physical properties, according to the laws of physics does not explain why we judge it to be beautiful. The human brain is said to be an extremely complex organ. That is something which some would point to as evidence of intelligent design - not the rainbow itself but the brain and the perception of it. If the brain is an example of intelligent design, then so must the rainbow be. All brains of all creatures are extremely complex; complexity doesn't necessarily suggest intelligent design any more than lack of complexity suggests a thing "just happened". I do understand many people prefer to believe nothing "just happened", but we'll never truly know, will we? To make a fuss over the origin of brains and rainbows is to detract from their great beauty in our perception. There is a quantum leap in complexity from a rainbow to the human brain. One is also a living biological system and the other is molecules of water suspended in the air (or very fine water droplets -however one wishes to define it). Thus they are two completely different things.

While animal brains are indeed complex, as far as we know animals don't wonder about rainbows as we humans do. There are significant differences between the brain of even the most 'advanced' animal brain and the human brain. In any case I was trying to point out that while the rainbow itself is probably not evidence of Intelligent Design, the human brain which perceives it and discusses it may well be. ____________________ The question isn't to do with our perception (or our dog's perception) of a rainbow. It asks whether the rainbow is an example of intelligent design. Not being a theologian, I can't claim expertise on that subject but understand it's a new way of saying 'creationism' for those who have trouble with the concept the universe and its inhabitants and attributes simply evolved in ways that worked, but now consider the term 'creationism' a bit fundamentalist, or possibly just old-fashioned. If the Earth - and the universe - are examples of intelligent design, or 'created', then rainbows, humans, animals, trees, rocks, clouds and orchids and so on were all intelligently created. If not, they evolved, in one way or another. You can't have it all ways. If God or something very like God created everything we can't say, but God only reallycreated humans; the rest just kind of happened, rocks, rainbows and all. So the answer is, if there was - or is - intelligent design involved (is it ongoing?), a rainbow is indeed an example of this. But, a rainbow is no less beautiful whether we believe an entity deliberately created it, and the brain with which we perceive it, or whether we simply accept it as the gift it is. However it got up there.

If you believe that Adam and Eve were created together on day six (Genesis 1:27) then of course they could not have known what God said on days 1 to 5. You have simply confirmed what S. H. Hooke says inMiddle Eastern Mythology - that the story of Adam and Eve grew out of older Mesopotamian myths.

Here are some arguments for Creation or against Evolution.

These point to Divine Creation:

• The staggering complexity of every organ and every cell in the human body.
  
• The vastness of our minds and emotions.
  
• The fact that the universe has definite design, order, and arrangement which cannot be sufficiently explained outside a theistic worldview. (This is how Abraham, without benefit of teachers, came to reject the chaotic world-view of idolatry and the possibility of atheism). For example, theoretical physicist and popular science writer Paul Davies (whose early writings were not especially sympathetic to theism) states concerning the fundamental structure of the universe, "the impression of design is overwhelming" (Davies, 1988, p. 203).

• The laws of the universe seem to have been set in such a way that stars, planets and life can exist. Many constants of nature appear to be finely tuned for this, and the odds against this happening by chance are astronomical.

1) The glaring lack of transitional fossils has been noted by the evolutionists themselves, such as this statement from the famous paleontologist and evolutionist George G. Simpson; quote: "The regular lack of transitional fossils is not confined to primates alone, but is an almost universal phenomenon."
"The lack of transitional series cannot be explained as being due to the scarcity of material. The deficiencies are real; they will never be filled" (Nilsson, N. Heribert).
"To the unprejudiced, the fossil record of plants is in favor of special creation" (Corner, E.J.H., Contemporary Botanical Thought).
2) Instances of falsifying of evidence by evolutionists, such as Haeckel's drawings, Archaeoraptor, the Cardiff "specimen," and Piltdown Man.
"Haeckel exaggerated the similarities [between embryos of different species] by idealizations and omissions, in a procedure that can only be called fraudulent. His drawings never fooled embryologists, who recognized his fudgings right from the start. The drawings, despite their noted inaccuracies, entered into the standard student textbooks of biology. Once ensconced in textbooks, misinformation becomes cocooned and effectively permanent, because textbooks copy from previous texts. We do, I think, have the right to be both astonished and ashamed by the century of mindless recycling that has led to the persistence of these drawings in a large number, if not a majority, of modern textbooks (Stephen Gould).
Dr. Jonathan Wells published a book in 2002 entitled Icons of Evolution. Dr. Wells states that the book shows that "the best-known 'evidences' for Darwin's theory have been exaggerated, distorted or even faked."

3) Creationists see the "survival of the fittest" and the dating of rock layers by fossils as being perfect tautologies.

4) The fact that some qualified, educated, normal scientists do not believe in evolution. Or at least question it, even if they still preach evolution: "Nine-tenths of the talk of evolutionists is sheer nonsense, not founded on observation and wholly unsupported by facts. This museum is full of proofs of the utter falsity of their views. In all this great museum, there is not a particle of evidence of the transmutation of species" (Dr. Etheridge, Paleontologist of the British Museum).
"To postulate that the development and survival of the fittest is entirely a consequence of chance mutations seems to me a hypothesis based on no evidence and irreconcilable with the facts. It amazes me that this is swallowed so uncritically and readily, and for such a long time, by so many scientists without murmur of protest" (Sir Ernest Chain, Nobel Prize winner).

5) The fact that there is a shared, worldwide tradition among every ancient society that the world was created.

6) Evolving of new organs or species has not been witnessed during known history.

7) Mutations are harmful, not beneficial. One of the tasks of DNA and of long-term breeding is to avoid or repair any changes brought about by mutations. This means that our genetic apparatus is programmed to resist change.

8) Mutations, even if beneficial, do not create new organs.

9) The fact that a great number of fossils have been found in the "wrong" rock-layers according to what evolutionary paleontology would require.

10) The fact that you need DNA to make DNA. No genetic code can be demonstrated to have arisen by chance, together with the ability to read that code and carry out its instructions. Information does not arise spontaneously; and there is an incredible amount of information in even the tiniest cell.
"A living cell is so awesomely complex that its interdependent components stagger the imagination and defy evolutionary explanations" (Michael Denton, author).
"The astounding structural complexity of a cell" (U.S. National Library of Medicine).
Concerning a single structure within a cell: "Without the motor protein, the microtubules don't slide and the cilium simply stands rigid. Without nexin, the tubules will slide against each other until they completely move past each other and the cilium disintegrates. Without the tubulin, there are no microtubules and no motion. The cilium is irreducibly complex. Like a mousetrap, it has all the properties of design and none of the properties of natural selection" (Michael Behe, prof. of biophysics).

11) The problem of the impossibility of abiogenesis in general. "The concept of abiogenesis is not science. It's fantasy" (J.L. Wile, Ph.D.).

12) The fact that evolution was once used as support for the belief that Blacks (or others) are less than highly-evolved humans. "Darwin was also convinced that the Europeans were evolutionarily more advanced than the black races" (Steven Rose, author). He also "reasoned that males are more evolutionarily advanced than females" (B. Kevics, author).

13. The first and second laws of thermodynamics point clearly to a Creator, since things undergo entropy rather than get more orderly over time.

14. "Radiometric techniques may not be the absolute dating methods that they are claimed to be. Age-estimates on a given geological stratum by different radiometric methods are often very different. There is no absolutely reliable long-term radiological clock. The uncertainties inherent in radiometric dating are disturbing to geologists and evolutionists." William D. 16 a). At current rates of erosion the amount of sea-floor sediments actually found do not support a "billions of years" age for the Earth.
b) The amount of Sodium Chloride in the sea, also, is a small fraction of what the "old Earth" theory would postulate.
c) The Earth's magnetic field is decaying too fast to extrapolate a long age for the Earth.
d) The rate of accumulation of Moon-dust has been measured; and the amount of dust on the Moon was found to be vastly less than what scientists had predicted before the Moon-landings.

e) Helium is generated by radioactive elements as they decay. The escape of this helium into the atmosphere can be measured. According to the Evolutionary age of the Earth there should be much more helium in the atmosphere, instead of the 0.05% that is actually there.Also see:

Dissent against Darwin

The poet and close friend of Muhammad, Hassan ibn Thabit, first came to write poetry under the influence of a jinn: she met him in a street of Medina, leapt upon him, pressed him down and compelled him to utter three verses of poetry. Thereafter he was a poet, and his verses came to him from the direct inspiration of the jinn. He referred himself to his "brothers of the Jinn" who wove for him artistic words, and tells how weighty lines had been sent down to him from heaven. As a close friend of Muhammad personally experienced a jinn, they should be accepted as real.

Jinn, who are made of fire and air, reflect the elemental volatility in virtuous or evil behaviour. Whether jinn are real is a matter of faith.

The concept of Jinn is not only exclusive to Islam only. They are also mentioned in other religions.

The best biblical reference other than exclusively Islam, would be King Solomon of the bible (Old Testament). It is accepted that King Solomon worked with demons, according to old Testament. Islam simply elaborates more that on that event saying that King Solomon received the gift of exercising control over some Jinn.

Satan, who tempted Adam and Eve, and also Jesus and probably a number of other influential people, was also a Jinn.

Also read the Quran "Surah Jinn", which is basically the narration of a Jinn. So we must believe that Jinn in Islam is real.

Quran says (meaning English translation):

Say: "Surely if men and jinns get together to produce the like of this (Qur'an), they will not be able to produce the like of it, however they might assist one another. (17:88)

and says:

Solomon was heir to David, and he said: "O people, we have been taught the language of Tair, and have been given of everything. This is a clear favour indeed." (16) His armies of jinns and men and Tair assembled, formed into ranks, (and marched) (27: 16-17)

and says:

And (remember), when We turned a company of jinns towards you to listen to the Qur'an, they arrived when it was being recited, and they said: "Keep silent." When it was over they came back to their people, warning them: (46:29)

Ganesa is belived as God of wisdom.
