I left this answer because it does give some information. While smoking was done in the 20s, this is done from a modern point of view, of which they didn't have back then. Smoking was the social norm and for one to of said this back then would have been gauche and rude and the poster would have not been allowed to stay.

Restaurants varied. All of them were much more formal then anything we have today, food generally was not as varied and you had different types of establishments. Some were meals in a cafeteria style, diner and formal events. Children didn't go often and dining out was exceptionally rare. The movies show a very small part of it, and even then that was nightlife, not dining.

You are probably referring to a "speakeasy." There were a number of clubs that claimed to only be gathering places where people could listen to music and chat. But in reality, many of these private clubs had a secret back room where those who knew the password or had received an invitation could drink illegal beverages. Government agents often raided these clubs, but when one was closed down, another seemed to pop up and take its place.

They played tag, jacks, jumped rope, football, baseball, marbles, shinny ( a form of hockey), charades, blind man's buff, annie-over, capture the flag, chess and checkers. They swam, ran races, ice skated, wrestled, rode horses, hunted and fished.

In the 1920s the most popular way to purchase expensive goods was through installment plans. Allowing people to purchase things through installment plans helped to fuel consumerism.

The Radio, A/C, Lightbulb, Neon Light, Airplane, Photography, Telegraph, Movie Picture, Automobile, Submarine, Tank, and Train already existed. The First Robot, & Lie Detector, both built in 1921. First 3D movie in 1922, Self Winding Watch, Traffic Signal, & Cathode Ray Tube invented in 1923. Loudspeaker 1924, Mechanical Television 1925. Liquid Fueled Rocket 1926. Technicolor, and Electronic TV invented in 1927. Car Radio invented in 1929.

There were several inventions and conveniences that made life easier in the 1920's. A couple were electricity and indoor plumbing. Some more was the mass produced Model-T automobile, and roads and highways.

The first working television wasn't actually made until 1926 so there was no price for a television in 1925 - they simply didn't exist.
