The reasons for rainforest destruction are economic and social.

Economic reasons include: 1) to create farmland, 2) wood is harvested, sold for timber or fuel, 3) alternate uses for the land, such as mining or creation of reserviors.

Social reasons include: 1) Settlement - creation of new towns and cities, and 2) Transportation - creation of roads or canals.

Cattle ranching became a huge reason. Europe, Russia and the US have imported many millions of tons of beef from Brazil.

1.humans breathe out carbon dioxide. and trees and flowers give out oxygen to the air that we breathe in. If we keep cutting trees. There would not be enough trees to produce oxygen. And we cant breathe in carbon dioxide cause then we would get carbon dioxide poison.

2. More car accidents because more animals would be running n the streets because of the loss of homes.

3.More possibility of getting deer ticks on your pets and yourself because a lot of deer have lost their homes and deers have ticks. Its getting so bad 3 families of deer live in my backyard.

4.animal attacks. More animal attacks would happen if all the forests are gone because they would have no ware to go.

5. The world that we live in would be a falling community because of the loss of trees. Animal attacks, deer ticks, car accidents and ect.

It is not possible to know how many trees were logged.

Logging was severe in the Daintree rainforest, especially after World War II, 1945, but in 1987 the Daintree was confirmed with World Heritage listing. There has been no logging there since.

The Mt. Erebus disaster occurred on November 28, 1979, because the wrong coordinates were put into the planes computer navigation system. It was flying low for sightseeing purposes because it was thought to be on the correct path. The pilots could not see the mountain due to white out conditions.

If all of the trees in the forest were cut down it would cause an outbreak of Meniere's Disease which comes from the toxic found in most tree trunks cut down. When one tree is cut down, it only releases a small amount of this toxin which can't hurt you, but if they were all cut down it would cause an extreme outbreak. This disease swells up the lungs and causes welts to grow around the chest area. It will cause death because your lungs will keep swelling up and eventually become too large and kill you.

It began in 1788 when the first fleet began clearing land for housing, crops and grazing of introduced livestock. They then spread the grass that their livestock like to eat far and wide. and unfortunately Australia had no hooved animals before 1788 and when introduced the sheep pigs cows goats camels deer etc started tearing the place up.

Government prohibited people from cutting down trees in the forest to prevent soil erosion and to protect nature.

Humans! us! we are killing the rainforest's! for, firewood, clearing to build housing, and businesses. WE ARE KILLING THE RAINFOREST'S!

Since forever, but brazilians do it in a sustainable way, new trees are allowed to grow, that's why the forest is still there.

Different to what people did in other coutries. United States, for example, was covered by huge forests when the English came in, but they destroyed everything in less than 2 centuries.

We should plant more trees. Killing wild animals and poaching should be banned.Stringent rules, heavy penalities should be imposed on offenders.Control and reduce pollution.

Deforestation is happening because we humans are buying all the wooden furniture which is making companies want to produce more. It is happening because there are not many trees left so they have to cut down the forests.

I don't think there's another way. I know there is fake wood, but for some cases you can't use fake wood.

Lightning is the major cause of forest fires. careless smoking, campfires that are not put out properly, left untended, or lit in droughts, deliberately lit fires used to prevent forest fires sometimes escape containment, and people (arsonists) also set fires on purpose. War andhuman error also cause forest fires.

Partly to harvest wood, but the main reason is clearing the land to make way for agricultural activities such as cattle or sheep ranching.

They also want to use the water from the river to create electricity and for some companies to dig for example, gold and copper. It will give farmers money to feed their family and make a living.

people cut down amazon rainforest for their needs and greeds like for making papers, drugs, for medical plants, fire wood, setting up industries, land for agrculture and many more things our greed never end up so to full fill it we cut the trees.

The Amazon Rainforest is being cut down because people are cutting down trees to build crops, mines, houses, roads and many other reasons. People are also cutting down trees to make paper.

you can get rubber from trees because you collect the sap and make rubber!

Nothing, there are over plenty of trees out there.

There are many different species of deer, elk, birds, lizards, chipmunks, and fish in nearby streams or rivers. :)

Land that is cleared in a rain forest for farming may become eroded more easily. Clearing the land exposes it to sunlight which makes the soil lose moisture rather than retain it.
