You might be an emo, but that doesn't mean anything. If your a teenage girl, your in a very common situation, and your definitely not the only one. You should really try to cut out the wrist thing, it's extremely dangerous. You might want to talk about it with someone professional, or just a friend your age.
My dear, emo is a clothing style and not specific for people being depressed and cutting themselves. That is something people who are not emo made up online. You have a depression it seems and need to tell someone close to you. It can be a parent, teacher, friends mom or who ever but they can help you get help. If you wish to talk anon with people who know what you are talking about you can look up teenlineonline.org. It's kids your age talking to kids with problems.
If you started crying everyday and feel sad a lot should you take antidepressants?
It depends on how long this has been happening. If this has been going on for weeks or more, definitely see a doctor about it. Talk to family, friends or a pastor about your sadness if you want some free help. Still, the most important thing to do is to seek professional help from a doctor or therapist!
Severe depression may be characterized by apathy (lack of feeling), but crying everyday and feeling sad could also be a sign, especially if it continues for weeks.
Other indications of depression include sleep disturbances, irritability, mood swings, lack of motivation, etc.
People with major depression often are so depressed they cannot help themselves. Gentle intervention by the people who care about them to arrange for the depressed person to see a good psychiatrist is the right thing to do. To say,"they are an adult and I cannot tell them what to do" is frankly not being a good friend. A depressed person is often not thinking straight and will benefit from your gentle input.
A blow to the head means the same as 'struck on the head' or 'hit on the head', usually with something heavy.
traurig; mind the pronounciation: don't say "Trawrik", slightly roll the "r"s in your throat, "au" is like in "ouch", the "g" is pronounced [ç], though even some Germans pronounce it like [k], but that is a so-called hypercorrection.
What idea was the centerpiece of new deal with which he hoped to reverse the depression?

Is the obsessive need to please another a psychologcal disorder?
I believe it can be a SYMPTOM of a psychological disorder. I've always been a "goody-two-shoes" because I wanted people to like me. I've had very few friends in my life, not because I'm nasty or anything like that; just the opposite. I find it very difficult to accept help from someone else until I've done something for them. I guess it's just my personality. Mark
Yes i think it is.I had that side effect too many times.
The term Depression Glass was coined in the early 1950s to identify that particular glass which was produced largely during the Depression era (1929-1935). During the 1950s and 1960s many antique dealers were buying and selling Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) and occasionally a piece of colored glassware would slip into their estates. This type of glassware was looked down upon as being worthless at the time. Not until the mid-1980s did Depression Glass become more of a collectible and ultimately replace the EAPG as the hot collectible and high priced glass of the late 20th century.
Depression Glass originated from more than 15 different glass manufacturing companies, however Hazel Atlas Glass was credited as being the first to produce colored glassware for table use in 1923. More information can be found on the hazelatlasglass.com website
Psychotic features are most common in what subtype of depression?
A state of mind which is psychotic is not relative to any one disorder....it can be attributed to any number of things, such as grief, trauma, or possible side effects to certain medications, and some other factors such as a hallucination to a drug, paranoid thoughts that may come from a mental disorder, and really a lot of things.

Can a vegetarian diet cause depression?
That's highly unlikely.
Although, there has been more research on the way Serotonin cycles through a person's body.
The receptors needed to process Serotonin is a Protein called P11. People with more Protein P11 can gather more Serotonin, and are less depressed.
A vegetarian diet, when balanced, can be very beneficial for the human body. It's very important to include a wide range of vegetables, beans and fruit to gain all the nutrients and micro-nutrients needed to function.
I would say, if you do feel depressed, you should probably see a doctor and have blood work done.
Although, it might be a good idea to take a break from the Vegetarian lifestyle, and try some chicken soup made from organic, free-range chicken, or make a cheese omelette with free range eggs.
You can always go back to a vegetarian lifestyle later.
Can clinical depression turn into manic depression?
Not in the way that you are asking. Depression is one illness; manic depression is a separate illness. However, it is possible that you are actually manic depressive or bipolar instead of just being unipolar depressive. Sometimes the manic phase does not show up at the same time as the depression. Teenagers and young adults often have depression first, before the first manic episode.
Why should you care about anything?
Because you wouldn't be alive to ask that question. To see it pointless having others perpetuate the hellish obsession of survival. All men will live knowing they will die, all men knowing that there is no single fact that can be proven to obtain in this world or beyond it. The monstrosity we call Earth can only offer despair, and eternal death. Every feat and accomplishment spurred from the ridiculous venture of survival and continuous gain, and suns will burn our bodies to cosmic ash, only to rebirth what we had finally escaped.

Can bipolar disorder be misdiagnosed when drug abuse is involved?
I would think so. alcohol erases a lot of what defines a person. he or she can change in an instant, and if moodyness is involved with this, which it most likely will when handeling a drunk, one may assume he has bilolar disorder. It may be that he or she has ipolar disorder though; you never know.

When someone slits their wrist what happens?
A person that wants to slit their wrists is in a great deal of mental anguish and should seek psychological counseling. Sometimes people are depressed and feel they will never be happy and will trying cutting their wrists. Some will not cut deep enough (not all that easy to cut ones wrists because of tendons, etc.) and may be superficial and a way (unknown to the victim) that they are reaching out for help. Others make a very good job of it and know what they are doing.
The human body has 8 - 10 pints of blood in their body depending on their body build. It takes the loss of two to three pints of blood to go into shock and a loss of four to six pints of blood to cause death (depending on the body build and the age and health of the person.) Death can take a long time because it depends on how healthy the person is and cutting ones wrists the blood flows and doesn't spurt so it can take a very long time. The person will feel dizzy, weak and generally lapse into shock.
Hey, I know the feeling of being insignificant. What helps me is to sit in a room by myself - write out every bad thing I can about myself. Then - and this takes quite some effort - write out good things that you think about yourself and what other people say about you. I stay there until I have at least half the number of bad things. Then, you focus only on the good things for a week. After a week, i repeat the process. This is difficult, I cry every time I do it, but trust me it works, I'm much happier than I used to be, and do not feel as bad about myself. Good Luck, and remember you have the same rights to be happy as everyone else, so if you are not part of the 'gang', or are not seen as 'cool' - be yourself!
Can cephalexin make you depressed?
Antibiotics usually do not make you depressed. If you are sick enough to need an antibiotic, however, you can certainly feel tired, sluggish, and "blue!" If you have never suffered from these feelings before, I would be more likely to blame your infection rather than the antibiotic. Your body is using up all its energy to fight off the infection, so you don't have anything left over to make you feel alert and peppy.
Typical side effects from any antibiotic, including cephalexin, are more usually the GI effects such as nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and upset stomach.
How can someone living in KY with mental illness no job or insurance get help?
The first step in getting help with mental illness is to apply for Social Security Disablity and Medicaid. Also a good place to see a doctor is at any of the Kentucky Comprehensive Care Centers. Their prices are based on income and they can help with prescription medication. Another good place to start with is the National Alliance of mental Illness. They have a 24 hour help line.
This is a tough one. A number of researchers are trying to find out how depression and alcoholisminteract with each other. The trick is these two conditions aren't probably separable. You can break down both alcoholism and depression into much smaller level such as cellular level or even genes - and they may or may not share a common underlying deficit in your brain.
