Yes and no. When I was pregnant I experienced some discharge. This is just caused by your body collecting stuff for your mucas plug. It is normal. Now the cramping is somewhat normal. Depending upon how severe the cramps are and if you are having any bleeding, you might want to talk to your OB. There is a medical term for some of those craps and it is called braxton hicks. The cramps are similar to the cramps you have when you go into labor. You are probably not in laor but it would be wise to tell your OB that you are havign these cramps. Do not hide anything from them.

Any questions about discharge or anything that has to do with your pegnancy that causes concern go to your doctor and ask them to see if everything is ok. It's a lot better to ask the question and find out nothing is wrong, then to not ask the question have something wrong and then later find out that it could have possibly been fixed or prevented. You might be able to take an at home pregnancy test to find out whether you are pregnant or not. If it comes out positive, check with a doctor to test HCG levels. If you were pregnant it might be a miscarriage and if it's a miscarriage you'd want a doctor involved in case of any complications.

I would def. call your doctor, when i was pregnant at 2 mos i had a miscarriage and the first thing i noticed before i realized i miscarried was very dark brown discharge that appeared on and off and then the cramping began and before i knew it the doc. told me i lost the baby, i actually passed the baby myself which was soo hard. but call your doc. and tell him your sympt. good luck to you

Clear discharge during pregnancy is very normal and nothing to be alarmed about. If the discharge is excessive, wear a thin panty liner to absorb the discharge.
