Is it normal to have a bloody mucus discharge the morning after sex when 39 weeks pregnant?

Sounds like your "show" meaning everythings starting for the birth. Congrats.

Actually, it isn't typical to still be having sex at 39 weeks pregnant. The average gestation cycle for a human is 40 weeks so please be careful You should not be having sexual intercourse during pregnancy- that is more than one life you are screwing with, ok?! Answer First of all, whoever answered last needs to check their information before scaring people. Almost any OB/GYN that you talk to will tell you that intercourse during pregnancy is completley fine and healthy during a normal pregnancy with no complications. In fact, at 39 weeks, many OB's will advise sex to kick labor into action. As for the bloody dishcharge, this could be your mucus plug which is a slimey, mucusy dishcarge, that usually has a brownish tinge. If so, a baby is in your near future! However, a small amount of blood is normal after intercourse, just be sure to ask your doctor at your next visit. Good luck!

Is yellow mucus-like discharge when two months pregnant normal or could it be a sign of a miscarriage?

Answer

That is either an infection or somthing reg. If you were to have a miscarriage you would get bad cramps but not often, bleed and you may even see a blood clot with a dark spot in it.

Answer

I had a yellow mucus-like discharge the day before I started bleeding during my miscarriage. The discharge was the mucus plug being discharged from my cervix. Cervical mucus goes through lots of changes during pregnancy, so it could also be "normal", depending on your particular circumstances.

Answer

Also check to be sure you dont have a yeast infection. Sometimes the discarge can be a yellow color as well.

Answer

this might be a fungal infection which happens to most pregnant women. it may also shows signs of sexual transmitted disease, check with doctor what might be the cause

I just have been though a miscarriage, it started with yellowy mucus within a couple of days there was a slight pink tinge, this carried on for 10 days then the pink stuff got more pink and blood like - like the beginning of a period, 11 days after all this started i thought i had wind pains and thought nothing of it, the next afternoon was the same, by the next morning they were like small contraction lasting 1-2mins about every5-10mins, i took painkiller and they didn't work, i finally got back to sleep. in the morning i woke up and went to the loo and had funny feeling , like i had to push 'something' out, i then wiped and had a 10cm piece of tissue (that looked like a cross between liver and raw steak) on the toilet tissue! I had no pain what so ever until 2 days before the lining came out of my body!

Everyone is different, If you are concerned go to a doctor and asked them to take some blood and measure your hormone level (quantitive test) you'll need a blood test every 2nd day for about a week - if the levels are going up, it a good thing. If on the other hand they are going down or not moving, its a bad thing!

BUT PLEASE go and see your Doctor!

You are 6wks pregnant had brown discharge for 3 days very light and passed a few pieces of what look like tissue after pelvic and ultrasound is there anyway you could stil be pregnant?

I would go to the doctor and get a check up as soon as possible. Yes it is possible you just had bleeding and did not lose pregnancy, (assuming ultrasound showed no evidence of tubal pregnancy). You can have consecutive serum pregnancy tests to see if HCG level is continuing to rise (indicating healthy pregnancy), or falling indcating loss of pregnancy. HCG will eventually fall to zero with misscarriage. Also repeat ultrasound will help to determine viability of pregnancy. Any pelvic pain, fever, abnormal discharge, cramping etc. can indicate retained portion of pregnancy, which would require a D & C to clean out your uterus. Failure to remove all of products of pregnancy can result in very serious illness/infection, possibly requiring hysterectomy/sterility, even death.

What does it mean if you have a brown mucus discharge after you wipe when pregnant?

This may indicate that you have a water infection. During early pregnancy, first trimester, this can be left over blood from your last period, but it will still need investigating by your Doctor.

Is it normal for you to have your cervix examined at 38 weeks pregnant and then to spot and have brownish discharge a day later?

Yes, this is quite common. The cervix has a lot of blood flowing into it towards the end of pregnancy and sometimes just ouching it may make the spot. The brownish discharge is possibly a little of the mucus plug which has been disturbed by the examination. Unless you have fresh bright redblood I wouldn't worry.

It is normal to have lots of clear & 'creamy' discharge, to the point where you have to change your underwear, but it shouldn't have a bad odour. You may have an infection brewing, get it checked out by your obstetrician.
