Doberman Pinschers

I have a beagle doberman mix. She is two years old and weighs 32 pounds. She is a little on the thin side, but I don't think these dogs would get any heavier than 35-40 lbs. Excellent dog.

doberman is better for a family,alot af gsds like to play rough and if there kids around they could get hurt also gsds have a habit of jumping up and attacking random people wile dobermans only protect the house and the people in it gsds are just to crazy

Yes, that is how they are naturally. The ears are made erect and pointy by surgically cutting them and taping them in place until the cartilage holds them in place. Many owners are leaving them floppy these days.

When it comes to dobermans, it's not really how many you buy them but what kind. Dobermans are very smart dogs, therefore toys that really work their minds are perfect. Buy the tough plastic or rubber toys that hold treats inside of them. They have to work to get the treats inside and they won't get bored easily because Dobermans are not the type of dogs to give up quickly. Also, Doberman owners swear by rope toys. They are durable and they will always want to play with it if you hold it up.

ps. don't waste your money on toys with squeakers or toys that are stuffed with cotton. They don't last long, they leave a mess once the dogs rip them apart, and your dog will lose interest quickly.

kind of hard to say on this one, both breeds are strong in they own way,

the doberman may be a lil taller doh, don,t be fool by how the doberman body is slim, cause these dogs are very very strong, and so is the bullmastiff,

of course not! they are as regular as any other dog. the only reason they could be very vicious, is because they could have been raised in a bad envirement.

Not sure if it is the same thing as Im thinking...I had a Min Pin who have fatty tissue ?tumors? the were the size of large grapes or ping pong balls and they were cold to the touch...not really harmful. hope this was helpful

It is actually illegal in Europe to crop their ears. But it is done because it helped to prevent the ears from being torn when the dogs were working as guards, etc. Now, they must be cropped a certain way to be allowed in AKC shows in the U.S. Also, some people believe it makes them look more intimidating.

I just wanted to add to above answer. I do understand it is not medically necessary, but to say there are no benefits is not true. Dogs with floppy ears are more prone for ear infections because they don't "air out" well. My last dog (not a Dobie) had floppy ears and he was miserable most of the time. We cleaned his ears religiously, had him on meds and he still had yeast infections and such in his ears often. If we didn't watch him, he'd tear the inside of his ears from scratching. It isn't this bad in all floppy eared dogs, but it is a possibility.

Trained European bloodline dobermanns can kill 2 German shepherd. German shepherd is nothin compered to a dobermann. I can't believe there are people who think that the gsd could beat the dobermann. Doberman is scarier.

The boxer and great danes ears also have to be cropped and taped for them to stand up. The only breed listed with naturally erect ears is the Siberian husky

well to be honest i don't know where to find a dog breeder because when i try and look for one i always find them and it turns out to be in Florida Texas or Ohio lol xxxx
