Dextron III will work and is cheap. Type F is better, since more friction. Best is ATF+4 which is the current Chrysler fluid. I read that it is fully synthetic and has the most friction modifiers for faster, firmer shifts which saves your clutch plates. It is specified for the front-wheel drive Torqueflites (A-413, ...) which are almost identical inside to your 904 or 727 transmission (you didn't tell us).

Not entirely true..... in the early 80s almost all automakers started making cars with Uni-bodys- meaning that the frame was built into the car. while trucks and SUVs have a true frame because the body can be lifted off and it is still a rolling chassis

on all 4 wheels if you look on the back of the brake plate you will see 2 rubber plugs on each wheel, pull the plugs out and shine a flashlight inside and you will see a gear wheel, you will need either a brake spoon or you can do it with a screwdriver but you have to turn that gear upwards to adjust the brakes up, turn the drums by hand as you are adjusting the gear and when you hear the brake pads grinding on the drums some your done, do this with all 4 wheels and try to get them all set the same tension so you don't get a pulling to one side or the other when braking.

The timing should be set at TDC (Top Dead Center). The timing marks are located on the vibration damper and timing chain cover.
