NO, this is really dangerous for the dog. Frontline for 40lb dogs is 4x as strong as Frontline for 10lb dogs, and the increased dosage is poisonous to the dog.

There is no "best" but there are effective ways to remove fleas on dogs. One is bathing him in dog shampoo and a dish soap. Frontline is good but please note that you should not use it indefinitely because it can make your pet sick. Now that the fleas are gone, there are still chances that fleas will return. It's because there are still "FLEA EGGS" lying around the house. They often fall off on your dog and find their way back into your pet.

dogs can actually take infant/childrens pain medication and administer it by poundage of the dog, just like you would for an infant or toddler, we have used infant tylenol. You may not know this but the vets give dogs and cats children's medicine and even children's antibiotics.

That depends on the size of the dog now, the breed, and the estimated size of the full grown dog, and what you're feeding it. Generally there will be a chart available on the back of your puppy food to tell you exactly how much to feed. Puppies, unlike full grown dogs, need to be feed twice, to three times a day. Of course, one may feed their full grown dog twice a day, as well.
