When was the name Good Friday first used?
As early as the first century, the Church set aside every Friday as a special day of prayer and fasting. It was not until the fourth century, however, that the Church began observing the Friday before Easter as the day associated with the crucifixion of Christ. First called Holy or Great Friday by the Greek Church, the name "Good Friday" was adopted by the Roman Church around the sixth or seventh century.
There are two possible origins for the name "Good Friday". The first may have come from the Gallican Church in Gaul (modern-day France and Germany). The name "Gute Freitag" is Germanic in origin and literally means "good" or "holy" Friday. The second possibility is a variation on the name "God's Friday," where the word "good" was used to replace the word "God," which was often viewed as too holy for commoners to speak.
What does the butterfly have to do with Easter?
The butterfly is a symbol of new life, as is the egg. Butterflies enter the cocoon as mere caterpillars, and emerge as beautiful, completely new creatures. They have to "die" as caterpillars in order to become something even better. Easter is about Christ's death and resurrection, and butterflies symbolise newness and beauty, overcoming death and ugliness to emerge victorious and free.
In 2011, Easter Sunday will fall on April 24th. The date changes each year as Easter day falls on the Sunday after the first full moon following the Spring, or Vernal, Equinox in the northern hemisphere (Autumn Equinox in the southern hemisphere).
When will Easter fall on April 13?
Easter Sunday will next fall on April 13 in the 2031. Easter Sunday last fell on this date in 1952.
The Buddhists in Japan do not celebrate this holiday.
Easter is a pagan holiday celebrating the goddess Ishtar, or goddess of fertility. That is why there are such things as eggs (fertility) and bunnies (which make lots of babies).
Easter is not when Jesus rose from the dead. That notion was started by the Catholic Church as a way to control what they saw as pagan practices. They spread this myth so that the pagans and the Christians would not go to war with one another.

Some people disdain the Kennedys because the family Patriarch was a gangster and a hoodlum who made all his money as a bootlegger and gunrunner, and they nowadays practice familial elitism.

Ostern = Easter. The modern English term comes from the Old English word Eastre, which was in use prior to 899. The Eostur-monath, a month of the Germanic calendar, may have been named for the pagan goddess Eostre in Anglo-Saxon paganism, but documentation of this goddess is almost non-existant.

In the upper room in Jerusalem. Acts 2 (look it up) ________________________________________________________
or
Actually, in reading Acts 2, its says...
Acts 2:1 ESV When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.
It is in the previous chapter that it states they were in an upper room...
However, Pentecost (Greek...meaning 50 days) takes place during the appointed time of Shavuot (Hebrew...meaning 7 weeks) or Feast of Weeks. The Feast of Weeks was one of 3 pilgrimage feasts ordained by God (Leviticus 23) ...and more than likely, the Followers of Jesus were on the Southern Stairs of the Temple....celebrating along with the other Righteous Jews who came up from their own countries.
Acts 2:5-6 ESV Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. (6) And at this sound the multitude came together, and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language.

The text below is taken from the above website...
"Though it is impossible to pinpoint an exact location for these events, there is significant support for placing this Pentecost event in an area of the Temple. * It was Shavuot. All pilgrims gathered in the temple for the service on this festive and holy day. Certainly, the disciples, who were "continually" in the temple courts (Luke 24:53), would have been in the temple on that day also. * Great crowds from everywhere garnered to listen to Peter and the other disciples. Where would great crowds have garnered on a holy feast day at the time of temple service? Clearly, they would have been in the temple somewhere (Acts 2:6?12). * The disciples were all in one place. The sound of a great wind filled "the whole house" (Acts 2:2) where they were. The temple is still called "the house" by Jewish people, referring to God's house. Even in Acts, it is called "the house" (Acts 7:47) (5). * Peter declared that it was 9:00 in the morning, the time of the Pentecost service in the temple. Certainly, the crowds, to say nothing of the disciples, would have been in the temple at the time Shavuot ceremonies were conducted. Some believe that 9:00 was the time during which the selected passages were read, describing the appearance of God on Mount Sinai (in thunder, lightning, fire, and smoke) and Ezekiel's vision of his appearance (with the sound of wind and with fire). * Peter spoke of the tomb of David as being there (Acts 2:29). The Bible recorded that David was buried in the "City of David" (1 Kings 2:10), the part of Jerusalem located near the temple Mount. * Three thousand people were baptized in response to the teaching of the disciples (Acts 2:41). Near the Southern Stairs, the pilgrim entrance to the Temple Mount, were mikvoth, ritual baths used by the worshipers before they entered the temple grounds. There were not many places in Jerusalem with enough water for that many baptisms. The proximity of these many pools, already believed to symbolize the removal of the uncleanness of sin, is evidence that this location was near the temple. "
Bunnies need a diet high in fibre to keep their digestive system going and to grind down their teeth. HAY is the biggest part of a rabbit's diet and the most important source of fibre (although many rabbits also like chewing on apple wood and willow twigs, and even plain cardboard, like the kind toilet roll inner tubes are made of).
In order to ensure your bunny is getting the right mix of vitamins and nutrients, you should also feed your rabbit some FRESH GREENS and high-quality PELLETS daily. Choose pellets and greens carefully: most pellets on the market are too high in protein and fat, and too low in fibre; and many plants are unhealthy for rabbits, even toxic.
Oh, and WATER, of course!
Healthy rabbits eating the above diet don't need vitamin pills or nutritional supplements; in fact, many such products can be unhealthy. An exception to this rule is digestive enzymes (such as in papaya enzyme tablets, or even fresh papaya or pineapple), which help keep a rabbit's delicate digestive system running smoothly. Either way, you should speak to your rabbit-savvy vet about your rabbit's needs before feeding it any supplements.
Rabbits have a sweet tooth and will enjoy the occasional treat. TREATS can consist of fresh fruit (like berries, peach, apple, papaya, pineapple, apple -- no seeds!), fresh carrot (a very sugary veggie), or whole oat groats. Treats should be limited to a couple of bites every couple of days or so. Grapes and banana are EXTRA sugary and should be extra restricted. Over-indulging in sweets can result in a variety of different health complications, even leading to death.

Another Opinion
Bunnies' Favorite Foods: Peaches, Bananas, Lettuce, Strawberries, Carrots (some bunnies won't eat carrots-like mine), Grapes (NO grapes until they are at least 3 months old), Apples, Wheat Crackers, Shamrock
What they have to have for nutrition: Natural bunny food, A bit of grass, Leaves, Clover, Water, Bunny vitamins, Bunny nutrition juice, (P.S. Bunnies can eat flowers like dandelions but too many roses, violets, African violets, etc. are bad for your bunnies)
Foods that are toxic to bunnies or they hate them: Chocolate, Sweets (A small bit of jell-o is okay though), Gum, Onions, Velvet Grass (Note that it is not toxic but your bunnies will not eat it), Pizza, Chicken, Pepper, Salt, Eggs, Cheese, Anything rotten
Rabbits shouldn't eat tomatoes because they aren't good for rabbits and the vines and leaves are toxic.
They eat a variety of veggies. Most rabbits are picky about what type of food they eat and will show a sigh that they don't like it.
bunnies can also have some cheerios (breakfast cereal) for treats... and high fibre pellets required for bunnies and a little bit for adult rabbits.... thx..
