Can you connect your laptop to your TV and get picture and sound using a HDMI cable?
Unfortunately you can't. VGA is an analog signal whereas HDMI is purely a digital signal. There are several ways to connect the two:
First, many televisions have component inputs that will accept an VGA signal. If it does accept VGA, there will be 5 connectors marked R,G,B,H,V. An adaptor cable can be purchased to connect a 15pin HD connector to the separate connections. Take a few minutes to read the manual for the television to see if the connections are available.
Next, there are USB based video displays that can be connected to a laptop to provide an additional display output. Select one that offers either an HDMI output or a DVI output. DVI does not carry sound but otherwise is fully compatible with HDMI. A DVI - HDMI cable will connect the computer to the television. You will need to use a separate audio connection and most televisions offer an analog audio connection on at least one of the HDMI inputs. Again, refer to the manual to check.
Finally, buy a VGA to DVI or VGA to HDMI adaptor. These tend to be more expensive than USB display ports so it's the least attractive option. If this is the only option open to you, make sure that the converter will handle the screen resolution of the VGA output before placing the order.
How do you turn write protection of a sd card?
SD (Secure Digital) card readers go into 'write-protect' mode if there is a notch cut into the upper-left edge of the card. This is similar to the write-protect cutout on floppy disks, and audio or video tape.
Many SD cards provide reversible write-protection by means of a pre-cut notch, and a small sliding tab: Sliding the tab downwards (toward the position marked 'lock') exposesthe notch and activates write-protection. Conversely, sliding the tab upwards covers the notch, which deactivates write-protection.
But sometimes, even though set to the 'unlock' position, the sliding tab doesn't protrude enough to deactivate write-protection. In this case, placing a few layers of scotch tape over the tab can thicken it enough to allow writing to the SD card. Note: Care must be taken to ensure the gold contacts on the card aren't blocked by the tape!
Other cards that don't have a switch like this may use the default settings (configured by the device that it came with) to disable writing to the disk. Note: these other card types are probably set to be write protected by the device software that came with them (such as a digital camera and the accompanying software would figure that it is the only interface that will write to your memory card).
Virtually *all* USB devices that have onboard storage capacity will in raw form be seen by the computer as an added hard drive. You can check for this by going into My Computer or Explore (on IBM based pc's). If you can get to a file/folder view of the memory card you are asking about, try and set the (top level) folder properties and/or file properties to *not* be hidden or read-only. More information regarding file permissions can be clarified by researching file attributes.

Anywhere between minimum wage up to about $26 per hour. Lots depends on the employer, the technicality aspect of the work being done - like does it also include troubleshoot and repair, and the education required for entry level positions. Some employers (like the one I recently retired from) require an AA Degree in Digital Electronics AND the successful passing of a 3 hour exam before even being considered for employment.
There are many types of electronics technicians. Research , Production, Instrumentation, Testing and more. There are no set rules but the pay is strictly related to experience and schooling achieved to perform the the assigned task MOST LUCRATIVE IS TEMPEST TESTING. Why is the most boring job on earth.

It all depends on your health condition. There are some people who are alive on pacemakers and iron lungs, but everyone else who is not dependent on such technologies can live perfectly fine with absolutely no technology what so ever. People where living fine before the discovery of electricity and would adapt if we lost it now. By the wording of your question however, it sounds like your trying to a school report, if that is the case then you have to come up with that answer on your own since the teacher is ask YOU that question
Who created the light bulb first Thomas Edison or Joseph Swan?
It is not at all unusual for two or more people to be working on the same problem at the same time, and coming up with similar ideas almost simultaneously, without any contact between the two. This is the case with these two men and a practical, economically useful, incandescent bulb.
Joseph Swan made an incandescent light bulb before Edison did so, but Edison's team came up with their ideas without any help from Swan's work. Swan thus had the patent in Great Britain; Edision in the USA. Rather than fight out who held the patents around the world, the two simply agree to join their patents as one.

You should start by checking the following:
Is the charger for the mp3 broken?
Is the plug for the charger broken?
Is the cord from the charger being inserted into the right hole in the mp3?
Is the fuse still operational in the charger?
1) If the answer for all the above is 'yes' its a problem with the mp3. You can send it back to the manufacturer for a repairs or alternatively to any other mp3 repairing service. Or if you're a tech whiz you can take it apart and see if there are any problems in the pcb which you can fix.
2) The same applies to if the chargers broken
Overall: just try to figure out which one is broken, and there's really nothing you can do about it not charging instead of fixing it.

They cost too much
they are subject to "burn in" if an image is left on the screen paused too long
They must be stored and used right-side up. if you mount a plasma to a ceiling it's ruined.
When an LCD's backlight burns out, you can replace the bulb. when a plasma doesn't light up, you replace the entire plasma.
they are heavier.
The image quality isn't any better.

because for the most part it calms students down. im in middle school and this year my friends and i made a petition to let us listen to our ipods and mp3 players during lunch and between the hours of 6:30-7:30 and 1:30-2:00 that is study hall. now their are 1200 students in our school we got 873 to sign it saying yes now for the most part school is a lot quieter and the day runs a lot smoother so that is why eletronics should be aloud in school.
