Why is Friday really important to Muslims?
Friday is an important day for Muslims as Friday, per Islam religion, is the Muslims weekly holiday. Although it is not forbidden for Muslims on Friday to work or to do any allowed normal day activities, they all called on Fridays for a gathering prayer at noon in the mosque and to listen to a religious speech from the mosque leader (called Imam in Arabic). Friday is considered as weekly feast for Muslims when they dress better and nicer and pay visits, as available, to relatives and friends and enjoy good time within the family members.

Rakkah is a single complete part of the prayers. As you most likely know a Muslim prays 5 times a day. Fajr prayer has 2 rakahs, duhr, asr, and isha have 4, and maghrib has 3. That's basically what it is. You go through the same movements saying the same thing but after you say surah al-Fatiha you say a different surah each time with it.

Why would they be wrapped in pigskin in the first place? How prophet Suleiman became a prophet?

first of all he didnt became prophet. He A.S was the son of prophet Dawood A.S and from his childhood he could talk with animals and knew about pain of every animal and the human aswell Allah gave him control on air and water. Hazrat Dawood Alaihis salaam ( David ) was the King of his people. He had 19 sons, each one of them hoped to inherit the father's throne. Allah revealed to Hazrat Dawood Alaihis-salaam a few questions and their answers and commanded him to put those questions to each one of his sons. Whosoever answered those questions correctly, would inherit his throne.
One day Hazrat Dawood Alaihis salaam called all his sons in the presence of the scholars and the chiefs of the tribes of his kingdom. He then put forward the following questions:
1) Which thing is closest (nearest) to man?
2) Which is the farthest thing?
3) Which two things are attached to each other?
4) Which is the most awe-creating thing?
5, Which two things remain unchanged?
6) Which two things are always different?
7) Which two things are opposed to each other?
8) What is the action the result of which is good?
9) What is that action the result of which is bad?
The first 18 sons of Hazrat Dawood Alaihis-salaam felt helpless and could not answer any of these questions. Then the youngest of the sons, Hazrat Sulaiman Alaihis-salaam (Solomon) stood up and gave the following answers:
The nearest things to a man is the hereafter (Life and Death - as one may die any moment);
The farthest things is the time which has passed away (which is not to come again);
The two things that are attached to each other is man's body with the soul;
The most awe-creating is the man's body (dead) without soul;
The two things which remain the same are the sky and the earth;
The two things which are different are the day and night;
The two things which are opposed to each other are life and death;
The action - the end of which is good - is patience and forbearance at the time of anger;
The action - the end of which is bad is haste at the time of anger.
Hazrat Dawood Alaihis-salaam obviously, was very much impressed with his knowledge and appointed Hazrat Sulaiman Alaihis Salaam as his successor.
Thus it will be seen that it was the supreme knowledge and wisdom that made Hazrat Sulaiman Alaihis-salaam succeed his father and become the Great King Prophet.

The so called Umayyad King, Yazid came to power. With his evil intentions he wanted to destroy Islam. He began to turn right to false and false to right. Slowly he was turning the Islamic laws into false due to the fact he was in power. Yazid sent his messanger to Imam Hussain (grandson of prophet Muhammed) in Medina to pay pledge/kneel to Yazid. But Imam Hussain refused.
THEN, the grandson of Prophet Muhammed stood against him. And at dessert of Karbala with 3 days hunger and thirst Imam Hussain gave his life for the right path and did not surrender or kneel to Yazid.

If you are asking who had the right to the throne, there is a difference between an Imam and a Caliph. Sunnis hold that Yazid, as murderous and vile as he was, was the proper Caliph since the Umayyad Caliphate was the continuation of the original Muslim Empire. Shiites hold that the proper leadership of the Caliphate remained in the Ahl Al-Bayt (the Prophet's relations). These proper leaders, who were not Caliphs were considered by the Shiites to be Imams, in the sense that they should be Caliph but are denied the right. As a result, it is a nonsense question to ask a Sunni whether Hussein or Yazid is the proper Imam since Sunni Islam does not have this concept. Hussein is very much respected in the Sunni Tradition, however, as opposed to Yazid who is almost universally reviled. For the Shiites, Answer 1 above makes it quite clear that they they see Hussein as the proper Imam and the man who should have been Caliph.
If you are asking who had the moral high-ground in the confrontation between Hussein and Yazid, both Sunnis and Shiites tend to accord the moral high-ground to Hussein.
