For mass csualties, all uninjured help to the best of their ability. Treat in order of those with best chance of recovery first This is hard to do, because your heart says the opposite ,but this is a time and battle-tested system.

Most qualified person on scene must do Triage. This is a system of treatment for mass casualties.

1. Minor scrapes and bruises, antiseptic if you have it and band-aid

2. Walking wounded,i.e. splint a broken arm, ace bandage to a sprain

3. Open wounds. stop the bleeding, use compress or direct pressure

4. Compound[bone sticking out]fractures. clean as well as possible, immobilize limb. cover with cleanest cloth you can find.

5 Shock. head down , feet up, keep patient warm, try to get ambulatory patient to sit and talk to them.

6. Burn victims.rinse with cool water. cover burnt area lightly with clean cloth. These people will be in alot of pain, but if no responders on scene, that's all you can do.

7.Try to resusitate anyone you can,Cover the rest if possible.

8. Anyone not injured try to help first responders by doing exactly as asked, even if it's just to get out of the way or direct more responders to the scene.
