yes it can. But it should only be used in combination with the prescribed medication for the disease. Some even consider it a panacea. It can also be used topically to cure skin cancer, arthritis, and many others, or be ingested for certain internal problems like any other cancer or ALS. Yes, for Parkinson's it is ingested. I would know because my dad has Parkinson's. It does treat Parkinson's, but it is not a cure. It has been known to extend a patients life by several years. I know many would not believe this, especially the cancer part, but look up Rick Simpson: run from the cure. it's true.
