What are Irish fairies or goblins called?
The Irish often called them the Little People. They told tales about them stealing babies and brides but were also thought as kind quiet folk who usually shied away from humans. Other Irish folk depict them as "tricksy" or cunning. One legend said if you see a leprechaun, you should keep looking at it and ask for its gold. Sometimes it will trick you showing you for example a tree where it is hidden so you would for example mark it with a hole only to find the next day all the trees in the areas are marked with holes. If he gives you gold often by dawn it turns into pebbles or nuts which is called "Fool's Gold". Yes, the Irish call them the Little People.

Will fairies live in a dollhouse?
No, faeries will not live in a doll house as it would be counted as cruel and it will bring bad luck to the family of which acted that way.
Also, faeries are shy creatures and are VERY hard to see or catch in anyway. You would have to be good friends with the faeries or actaully be one to meet a faerie.

You can have any colour hair you want.

Who said 'I wish this poem was pixie dust'?
I Wish This Poem Were Pixie Dust I wish this poem were pixie dust
To throw into your eyes
And make you see the loveliness
Beneath my sad disguise.
And I would take you in my arms
And weave a magic spell
That I could utter anytime
To make you love me well.
But alas my simple words
Are like summer rain
That drums on hills and fields and hearts,
Then vanishes again.
And though my love might make you bloom,
You turn with fragile grace
To gaze in aching loneliness
At someone else's face.
We lust for what we cannot have,
A long, unbroken chain
Of lovers who remain unloved
And loved who love in vain.
While I'm near mad with wanting you
As trees must have the sun,
You cannot help but find a love
Who loves another one. ~ Nicholas Gordon

He doesn't. It is Titania who orders the fairies around, saying things like "Fairies, skip hence" and "Fairies, away."
I have never heard of a fairy biting anyone, they tend to use their magic powers to protect themselves, or they just simply fly away.

Is the girl with wings in Coraline a fairy?
Yes. She is described as being clothed in odd, shimmering material (like cobwebs), wears a small silver circlet and is a somewhat smallish person.
Later, when Coraline meets all the ghost children in her dream, this same child is said to have insect like wings, and flies when the other children have to walk. She also happily eats a bowl of honeysuckle flowers when everyone else has ice cream.
Coupled with the fact that she is the oldest ghost there, and has the most archaic speech patterns, we can also assume that she truly is a fairie...the first type of being stolen away by the Beldam/Other Mother and from a time when fairie kind still lived and flourished outside of dreams.
What were Elizabethans view on fairies?
In the Elizabethan times, fairies were thought of as wicked. They referred to them as 'little devils'. They would punish people and play nasty tricks. They had a dark completion (to show their wickedness) and they dressed in green to represent nature. They are shown as human like creatures. The first idea of fairies having wings was created in Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Nights Dream, where he refers to them as 'small humans with wings'.
People believed that if they didn't keep their houses clean and clear from dirt, than the fairies would punish them. The most common though of punishment was making the milk sour and butter not churn, but that would also happen if the people didn't supply the fairies with meat, bread and especially dairy. A popular punishment was called 'pinching', where the fairy would pinch all over the human body until it was covered in bruises. People also believed fairies were responsible for diseases.

What magic spell will trun you into a fairy?
It depends on whether the caster wants to become the fairy or if they want someone ELSE to become the fairy. There are many requirements to meet: the spell must be cast at midnight on the night of a full moon, the person must close their eyes and be facing in a way so that, if their eyes were open, they would see nothing that is man-made, and there must be music coming from a wooden wind-chime in the background.
The actual words of the spell are slightly more complicated. The effect lasts until the next night at midnight if you are making someone else the fairy, but if you are becoming the fairy, you will stay that way forever unless you cast the same spell on yourself with the letters read backwards. Included is all the spells needed.
For making someone else the fairy, say this: Tha eínai mia neráida méchri ta mesánychta áv̱rio
For making someone else human, say this:
Oirvá athcynásem at irhcém adiáren aim ianíe aht
For making yourself the fairy, say this:
Tha eínai éna paramýthi gia to mí̱kos tou gia pánta
For making yourself human again, say this:
Atnáp aig uot sokí̱m ot aig ihtýmarap ané ianíe aht
WARNING: this will not work unless said completely correctly, at the exact time. Also, Oberon and Titania (king and queen of fairies) must approve of this change from human-to-fairy or fairy-to-human.
