There are a few factors that can result in a false positive. Most of the time though false positives are rare! I recently experienced this. I have 4 children and have never had a false positive! My test never showed up unless I was pregnant. I recently had 5 tests show a faint positive and went to the doctor for blood test which was negative. I was told that a cyst on your ovaries can sometimes make a test appear positive (false positive). Other factors include chemical pregnancy. This is one where everything develops as though you are pregnant, except for the baby. If you are on any medication that contains the pregnancy hormone (HCG), this also can make your test turn up positive. It is best to have a blood test done by the doctor to totally insure you are not pregnant.

Have you gone to the doctor for the test or did you do a home one? If it was home I would go in to the doctor to have them run it. If it was at the doctor, I would ask them to do another but take blood this time to get your results. If still neg. talk to your doctor it could be stress related. But it took me until I was 5months preg. with my oldest for a test to come back saying I was. So I guess what I am saying the long way is go to the doctor or hospital if you don't have insurance atm. Remember any time you go to the hospital and you don't have insurance to get any scripts filled while you are there. The hospital will just put it on your bill.

There are a few basic errors you could do. Perhaps you moved within the sample tube with your probe. Perhaps you allowed it to become contaminated. Perhaps you punctured to many holes and allowed other bacteria to enter.

Hello. Do you mean QUANTITATIVE or QUALIATIVE? If it was a qualifiative then you can definitely still be pregnant. If it was a quantitative then chances are you aren't pregnant hun and the HPTs were faulty or you had a early miscarriage. Im very sorry if you had a miscarriage. Hoever, I would get a retest done to find out. Blood test I mean. :-)
