Is it normal if you're 15 weeks pregnant and have been spotting for 2 days and the blood color is dark brown but you haven't passed any tissue and the blood only comes off on the toilet paper?

Yes, this can happen and dark blood is what they call "dead blood" meaning it's been caught somewhere in your female organs. This can also happen just before or after a period. However, I can't stress enough that anything you feel is abnormal while pregnant should be discussed with your doctor as soon as possible as you want to birth a healthy baby. Don't get too stressed as I am sure things are OK, but please see your doctor and put your mind to rest. Congratulations! Marcy

What is healthy male fetus heartbeat?

There is no true variance in the Male or Female fetus. Depending on how far along in the pregnancy, the heartbeat should be anywhere from 110 to 170 BPM.

Does how the baby kick determine its gender?

There's a vast number of spurious 'wives-tales' used to 'guess' the gender of a baby. Some are simply visual: whether you are carrying high or low, the right breast being larger than the left, your pillow facing north during your sleep, etc. Some theories verge on the absolute absurd.

Unfortunately, the degree, activity, or timing of a baby's kick will not determine its gender. The greatest joy is in knowing that you're about to have a child, whatever the gender may be.

Is it weird to feel your baby move at 5 weeks?

That is way too early to feel the baby move. You may be feeling extra gas, since you are pregnant. Or possibly the muscles stretching and moving. Most people don't feel the baby move until at least 4 months.

I dont think this is entirely true. yes no one else can feel the baby kick outside the womb till 4 months or so but I felt my baby moving around at 8 weeks along. I have had 3 pregnancy, 1 life birth and 2 miscarriages. so really it all depends on how many times you have been pregnant. if it is your first time more than likely you are only feeling extra gas or muscles adjusting to your new pregnancy body and baby.

I think this is incorrect. Everyone feels their baby move at different times. I have been able to feel my baby move on the inside since 12 weeks and on the outside at 15 weeks because I am so thin and because of the position of the baby. Everyone's body is different, and honestly I would not take advice from other people, you know your body. So my answer is sure it is possible.

How early can you feel fetal movement if its twins?

I am trying to figure this out as well. I swear I felt fluttering and a very little bit of density on the left side of my belly at 13 weeks. (The right was a bit squishy) And I feel that this was my two babies waking me up at night. Then last night at 14.5 weeks I woke up at 3am with a start because it felt like my two little lovies swam all the way to the top of my abdomen trying to get into my rib cage. This was a little painful... I put my hand on it and the I felt a slight push and I assumed it was my heart beat (it was that light f a push) , but then there wasn't another... and the last time I checked I had more than one heartbeat. This is what convinced me that it was my babies. At that point I got pretty uncomfortable and got up and walked around hoping gravity would help them swim down. In my head at least, I know it was them... already terriorizing their poor mother. I hope no one says it was gas, because I swear I wasn't gassy at all... and after about 10 minutes, the pain subsided. So, I am convinced I felt movement and possibly a kung fu kick already. Yet, I can't find anyone saying that they felt fetal movement this early in the pregnancy. So... if someone knows what they are talking about, it would be sweet if they answered.

I have not missed a period but I still feel I'm pregnant and I feel the baby moving?

Twelve weeks is very early to be feeling any movement, as your uterus would still be tucked down behind your pubic bone. An embryo at twelve weeks would weigh just half an ounce (14 grams) and be about 2.5 inches (6 centimeters) long. If you have not taken a pregnancy test this might be the right time to do so.

If you are experiencing symptoms of pregnancy, with or without a period - at 12 weeks an EPT or HPT will be accurate. Prior to conception your normal level of hCG is (less than) < 5mIU/ml. Once an embryo implants in the uterus the levels start to rise and will double every 72 hours in the early weeks. Depending on the brand, your HPT will show positive for pregnancy once the hCG level in your urine reaches 50mIU/ml to 100mIU/ml. By 12 weeks of pregnancy a woman's hCG level will be 25,000mIU/ml to 250,000mIU/ml.

There are other changes in your body that can provoke many of the symptoms woman feel in early pregnancy. An ovarian cyst, can cause similar symptoms and is a fairly common occurrence in young women, it will usually resolve within in 3 months time without treatment, but should be monitored. Some thyroid conditions can cause a woman to "feel"pregnant - fatigue, nausea, weight gain and will even cause menses to stop if the gland becomes completely nonproductive.

The serum hCG test will read positive once the level is 25mIU/ml, over 5mIU/ml but less than 25mIU/ml will show inconclusive (not likely to happen at 12 weeks) 5mIU/ml or less is negative.

The beta-hCG can be a helpful tool in the early weeks for determining a healthy pregnancy. As the test will show the exact hCG level, in a healthy pregnancy the level rises daily until the twelfth week - at thirteen weeks the placenta takes over and the level drops gradually by six weeks after birth the level will be back to it's normal level of 5mIU/ml or less.

If your HPT is negative I would suggest making an appointment with your Gynecologist, 12 weeks is more than long enough to suffer through feeling miserable without knowing what is causing your symptoms. Obviously, if it is positive you should get in to see your Midwife or Obstetrician.

What it mean when placenta is in way of baby making hard to feel baby kicking?

It is called an anterior placenta which means the placenta is attached to the front wall of your uterus (rather than the back wall which is more common). It doesn't mean anything other than there is a little extra cushioning between the wall of your uterus and your baby so you probably won't feel baby's first movements until a little later into your pregnancy (probably around 20 weeks or more if you are also overweight).

Why am I having pain in my belly button during 30th week in pregnancy?

What determines the position of the baby when pregnant?

33 weeks pregnant with 2nd child bad braxton hicks they feel like labor baby is really low bin having pains for 10 weeks they feel like not being able too breath and move what are they?

They are braxton hicks. I am having the same thing, turns out I have not been drinking enough water. When you are dehydrated your body releases more of the hormone that aids in labor...thus more contractions. I would not worry unless they are less than 10 minutes apart for more than an hour...or if you have any bleeding or fluid or discharge that is not normal, those are signs of preterm labor.

Can you be 12 weeks pregnant and still get your period and feel fetal movements in your abdomen?

If you are bleeding, call your doctor. If you have a confirmed pregnancy you aren't having your period.

First time mothers typically don't feel the baby moving until about 20 weeks although some might feel it earlier. I'm currently 16 weeks and am feeling bubbles that could be gas but could also be baby.

But again, I stress this - IF YOU ARE BLEEDING CALL YOUR DOCTOR. It might be nothing but you need to check. You are not getting your period if you're pregnant.

What month can you feel the baby move?

"Most probably the 7 to 8 month" is clearly written by someone who has no clue what they are talking about. The correct answer is between 16 and 22 weeks which is the 4th or 5th month. It can be even earlier if this is not your first pregnancy.

What if you are pregnant and have Brown blood in toilet?

While several people say it is normal, it is still a sign of the so called "threatened abortion". The following steps are recommended:

1. Visit the doctor to check if the embryo's heartbeat is Ok or not.

2. If the heartbeat is OK, the it is necessary to take such tablets as Duphastan that protects against abortion.

In addition, take a good rest. Never lift anything that is heavy. You may also take a blood CBC analysis and check with the doctor.

When will my husband be able to feel the baby move?

Just got this from About.com While it takes a mom a good 24 weeks to begin feeling the baby, it will take dad and others longer. Sometime between 28-32 others around you can feel the baby if they put their hands on your belly. The baby just needs to be a bit bigger before it can be felt from the outside. However, be aware that baby will play games and you may have to be patient.

Is it right to feel really nervous with your second pregnancy?

hello don't worry as a mother of five i can assure you it is perfectly normal to be worried and nervous with any pregnancy . i found the second pregnancy more than any to be more nerve racking , i thought how can you spread the love and attention you have lavished on your first born to another baby. you very often are so caught up in doing everything so right and to the text book that the thought of having to share that with another is very hard to grasp.but trust me when they arrive you will just naturally spread your love, time ,and emotions. you will also realise the mistakes or unecessary things you did with your first that you wont repeat with subsequent children when it kicks in that their life revolves around you and not your life revolves around them !something i have observed with friends who only have one child !im sure you and your first child will benefit enormously from your new arrival just keep them involved and it will all just come naturally .kindest regards tracey x

Could it be I'm pregnant if you feel a little movement in the abdomen after postpartum 8 weeks?

Is it possible to feel the baby moving too much?

The amount that babies move during pregnancy varies alot depending on a number of factors. When mom-to-be is moving around (walking, cooking, folding laundry, etc) the baby tends to be lulled/rocked to sleep. However, when being still (sitting, sleeping) the baby 'wakes up'. Another factor from experience is what you ate recently. I recommend keeping a food/activity diary to see if you spot a trend of baby activity. How far along you are in the pregnancy can also impact how active the baby is due to developmental stages of the fetus. If you are concerned, please speak with your dr. After all, your dr can't provide the best care for you and baby if he/she doesn't know all that is going on! Hope this helps............
