How do you dissolve thin-set mortar?
You cannot dissolve thinset in place. Remove any grout with MultiMaster power tool and diamond grout blade. Remove ceramic tile with a margin trowel carefully tapped under the tile with a hammer all around. Soak the tile in cheap white vinegar for 3 days to render the thinset and grout friable. Scrape it off, and repeat for tenacious deposits. Chip loose thinset off the wall, then smooth it reasonably with a MultiMaster and rasp attachment, also using the dust vacuum attachment and a shop vacuum. Wear a dust mask and goggles for all operations.

How do you remove bubble in a linoleum floor covering?
That "Bubble" is more than likely an area where moisture has migrated up and condensed under the covering to form water. This water is harmful to the glue or mastic that was used to stick the linoleum to the substrate.
You can use a razor knife held at a 45 degree angle to slice open the center of the bubble. An absorbent cloth will absorb moisture underneath and a hair dryer to evaporate any remaining moisture will restore a dry surface. Apply glue starting at the outer edge of the bubble working your way to the center where your cut was made. Pressure Roll toward the center and see glue coming up through the angled cut. Remove any excess glue that comes to the surface from the cut and place something flat with a weight on top and allow to cure for the recommended time.
Any floor covering is susceptible for moisture to collect underneath and is especially true in rooms that have water in them. [Baths, Kitchens and Laundry Rooms] If the substrate is concrete, All Concretes Should Be Waterproofed before any floor covering is installed. That will stop moisture vapor emissions that cause this.
How many tiles of 50cm2 are needed to cover a bathroom floor what is 2m long and 1m wide?
In principle,
Area of bathroom = 2*1 = 2 sq metres
Area of each tile = 0.5*0.5 = 0.25 sq m

If it's plywood, it's probably at least 3/4 real ply as opposed to 3/4 composite, what I call Japanese wood. However, I wouldn't use ply under ceramic tile. I would use at the very least the material called Hardi-Board. Ask about it at the hardware store.
Is it worth paying more for porcelain tiles?
That depends how much more and how much you like the look. If on the wall, wear and tear means little.
(added to original answer):
Porcelain is harder and denser than ceramic tile. It will take more abuse without cracking, and can be used outdoors in harsh climates because it will withstand freeze/thaw cycles that ceramic cannot.
So your answer depends on how you're going to use it. If you're putting the tile on a kitchen floor or billiards room where hard things are likely to be dropped on it, then yes, porcelain is worth paying more. But if you're installing tile on a bathroom floor, where the hardest thing to hit the floor are plastic shampoo bottles, then no - the higher price of porcelain isn't worth it unless you just happen to like the look of your porcelain choice better than a ceramic choice.
There are different kinds of porcelain, too - which might make a difference when used outdoors or in rooms where there will be much heavy use. Some porcelain tiles have a dense gray body and a glazed color top coat; others are "color-through" or "color-body" porcelain - in these, the same color of the surface is the same color throughout. They cost more than glazed porcelain. If you chip a glazed porcelain tile, the gray body will show through. If you chip a color-body porcelain tile, the chipped area will likely be insignificant or nearly invisible.

How many yards of concrete will cover 500 square feet at 4 inches thick?
a 'yard' of concrete means 1 cubic yard volume (1 yd * 1 yd * 1 yd).
This is 3 ft * 3 ft * 3 ft = 27 ft3
4 in = (1/3) ft
Your coverage of 500 ft2 * 4 in = 500 ft2 * (1/3) ft = (500/3) ft3 166.6667 ft3
so (166.66667 ft3 ) / ( 27 ft3 ) = 6.1728395 yards of concrete
Answerthats way too difficult for my simple brain try thissq' x 0.0031 x # of inches
500 sq' x 0.0031 x 4= 6.2 yards
Okay lets make it simple .... I dont even understand there answer . Okay... multiply your length and width so lets just say 10' x 50' = 500 sq ft then take 500 and then divide it by 81 (81 is 81 sq ft witch is a yard of concrete at 4 inches) = 6.1728395 so if ordering concrete you'll need 6.25 yards to complete your project.
