In most if not all states, The REGESTERED owner is liable for all costs incurred. If the tow bill is 500 dollars and the car sells for 100 reg owner will owe the 400 balance. IF the bill is 500 and the car sells for 900 the 400 over the bill is returned to reg owner. IF there is a legal owner that is differant from the reg owner and a balance is due, the reg owner is still liable to pay off the car. I am not a mechanic, but helped a friend replace his LH mirror.

First, there are three bolts holding the mirror assembly to the door. One is visible and two are hidden under the plastic cover on the door (inside the car) opposite the mirror assembly.

Since my friend's mirror had been knocked off, it was easy to gently tap the plastic straight back from the outside. However the trick is to realize that the cover must be pulled straight back (as opposed to being slid one way or the other). It snaps into the door.

Once the cover is off, it is simple to loosen the three bolts, disconnect the wiring harness and remove the mirror assembly. The assembly rests against a gasket to make it watertight.

Installing is the reverse.

2006's don't actually have a functioning auxillary input. The radio was used on several models including Mustangs, which is why the auxillary is present. Same as the Phone icon, that wasn't actually used on Fusions until late 2008

If it's like my 2001, you need to take out the dash, because they put ty-raps on EVERYTHING and you need to also thread the new cable through, almost an impossibility, otherwise.
