Catherine Howard, Henry VIII's fifth wife, is believed to frequent Hampton Court's Haunted Gallery where she was arrested and dragged back screaming to her rooms while under house arrest, accused of committing adultery by her husband. She was executed, at the Tower of London.
Dame Sybil Penn, was the nurse of Prince Edward and she also nursed Elizabeth I through small pox at Hampton Court; and in 1562 she contracted small pox and died, shortly afterwards.
In 1829 the church at nearby Hampton was rebuilt, and her tomb was moved to the newly built church. Immediately after her tomb was moved, strange noises like those of someone working a spinning wheel were heard through a wall at Hampton Court. A search revealed a previously unknown chamber containing ... an antique spinning wheel. To this day, Dame Sybil has reputedly haunted several parts of the palace including the state apartments and Clock Court.
In October 2003, for three consecutive days, palace security staff were called to close one particular fire door near the palace's Introductory Exhibition. On the first day, the CCTV security camera, near the same fire door, showed the doors flying wide open with great force. On the second day, the CCTV security camera footage showed the doors opening, again but this time a ghostly-looking figure in period dress suddenly appeared on the screen and then closed the doors. The doors opened again on the third day but there was no further sign of the ghostly doorkeeper.
The ghostly figure has been given the nickname, 'Skeletor'.

No. Ghosts have never been proven to exist, so it is intellectually responsible and prudent to conclude they do not exist.
In order to make sense of our world, we must use the scientific method, not spooky stories, opinions, hoaxes or outright lies by people who need attention or need to feel special. Other believers may be uneducated, superstitious or just too young and naive.
The Scientific method refers to a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on gathering observable, empirical and measurable evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning. A scientific method consists of the collection of data through observation and experimentation, and the formulation and testing of hypotheses.
Scientific researchers propose hypotheses as explanations of phenomena, and design experimental studies to test these hypotheses. These steps must be repeatable in order to dependably predict any future results. Theories that encompass wider domains of inquiry may bind many independently derived hypotheses together in a coherent, supportive structure. This in turn may help form new hypotheses or place groups of hypotheses into context.
Among other facets shared by the various fields of inquiry is the conviction that the process must be objective to reduce biased interpretations of the results. Another basic expectation is to document, archive and share all data and methodology so they are available for careful scrutiny by other scientists, thereby allowing other researchers the opportunity to verify results by attempting to reproduce them. This practice, called full disclosure, also allows statistical measures of the reliability of these data to be established.
In summation: For something to exist it has to be proven. This is how we escaped the dark ages - using reason and logic. So, for now, ghosts do not exist.

A ghost is the spirit of a person who has died. Some are residual which means that they don't interact with the environment but keep replaying an event like a tape replays a movie. Others are actual spirits that communicate and are in an environment that they once knew. Some people think that all of this is not real and we may never know for sure if it is or not.

I have personally seen the paranormal activity that goes on there! Milsons island or as it as scientifically reffered to as milentialemferf (mil-en-tia-lem-ferf) is haunted by the crew of the Jolly Swagger which historically crashed on the shores on the island in 1878. The captain of the ship April Munaham is said to haunt the ghostly crew forcing them to haunt any inhabitents on the island.
I hope i have helped you.
sincerely April Munaham
ghosts can be over a 1,000 years old! depending when did they died. but they never grow up. ghost children, or adults never grow and stay like that forever its your body that grows, your soul just adjusts to it. for example if you died with your favorite red shirt and jeans, you'll stay with them for ever (I dont know why but all ghosts have that)

Necromancy is a form of magic in which the practitioner seeks to summon "operative spirits" or "spirits of divination", for multiple reasons, from spiritual protection to wisdom. The word necromancy derives from the Greek , "dead", and "prophecy".
However, since the Renaissance, necromancy has come to be associated more broadly with black magic and demon-summoning in general, sometimes losing its earlier, more specialized meaning. By popular etymology, nekromantiabecame nigromancy "black arts", and Johannes Hartlieb (1456) lists demonology in general under the heading.
