If the seat heater shuts itself off after you hit the button, chances are there is damaged wiring in the seat bottom heater pad. Search online for "Denali seat heater replacement" and you will find the parts you need. It requires removing the leather seat cover, unplugging and removing the old heating pad, and laying on the new one (it is like a giant sticker). Alternatively you can just stick the new heater pad on top of the old one. Then plug the NEW heater pad in, reinstall the seat cover, and enjoy a warm butt.

First, you need to activate the "learn mode" in the vehicle. This is done either by hold both the unlock and lock buttons at the same time or turning the lights on and off a few times. Once the learn mode has been activated, you need to go to each tire (starting with the drivers front and moving clockwise around the truck) and set the pressure (raise or lower) until you hear the horn beep. Once you hear the beep move on to the next tire. Once you have done all four you are done.

You will have to give more information to get a good answer. Two wheel or 4 wheel drive, front or rear, etc.,, What year is it?

Front wheel bearings on the mid 90" should be easy to change. Just remove the wheel, remove the bearings and the races (will have to be pressed or knocked out of the hub) then replace the races, first, then the bearings. Put plenty of grease on them . You should replace the seals as well.

On the 1999 and probably later, you will find that they have a "double set" of bearings for each wheel with only one bearing race. You will have to have the old race pressed out at a machine shop and the new one pressed in, again press the bearings and put in new seals. Will cost over $100 per wheel for the bearings and machine work in most places, plus the cost of the seals.

Have a mechanic do it. If you want to spend a couple hundred dollars, but all you need is a screw drive (Phillip's), a few sockets (metric) and some duct tape (to hold the window up. first time it took me an hour once I knew what the procedure was I cold do it in 30 minutes. You can find instructions on the web good luck!

The 5.7 Vortex engine lets the onboard computer time the engine. Initial timing is accomplished when the timing chain or the distributor is installed. Both the timing chain and the distributor have an index mark for the initial adjustment. The computer does the rest. To activate the computer adjustment one would have to disconnect the battery for a few minutes, I do it for approx. 10 minutes, however it can be done in less time.

go to the screen on your dash that says 0% oil life remaining and hold the check mark for a while (15seconds or so)

5w20 weight major brand oil and AC/Delco or Purolator filter would be my advice. I personally use Pennzoil oil. Check your owners manual to be sure on the weight.

Remove the dust cap on the brake drum. There is a 30MM laminate nut under it. This is torqued to 192 Ft lbs remove it and the brake drum will come off leaving the wheel spindle and brakes in place. The drum actually hold the bearing a new seal should be added as well since you have the drum off

Rear rotors should last 100,000 miles easily!! change your brake shoes at around 45-50,000 miles

common trouble is Intake manifold water jacket leak just had mine fixed cost about $700.00 to have someone do it or about $100.00 if you do it yourself

Go to your local auto parts store and buy a service manual. It should cost around $20, which is cheaper than the parts themselves will be, and probably, when added to the cost of the parts, still less than a mechanic would charge you... plus, it will tell you how to do lots of other maintenance activities, saving you even more money in the future.

I believe that one is behind the glove box door. Once you drop the door you should be able to get at it.To be sure you can check with your Chevy dealers parts department and they can print out a copy of its location for you.

The trim around the cd player and fuel/menu display just clip in. You'll have to remove the trim around the cup holders too which also just clip in. The cd player will not slide out until you remove trim from around the cup holders. It just barely hits but is alot easier to do it. Once you have the trim removed push down on clips on both sides of the player mount and slide the cd player out.

That is the code fot the O2 sensor. Usually fails at or around 100k. Need to get it fixed to clear most inspections.

Turn key on (engine off) and press and release gas pedal 3-5 times until oil life message resets.
