If you mean the one when you press the "~" key or the "`" key (depending on your keyboard) in the top left and corner under escape and to the left of the "1" key, you're in luck. Simply create a new shortcut to the halo.exe file (Located, by default, in the halo folder), and open its properties. Next to the target, which reads (by default) "C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe", add the following: -console -devmode

Do not forget to add a space between the end of the quotes and the console, and between the console and the devmode modifiers. It should look like this once you're done:

"C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console -devmode

To activate the console, press ~ and type commands. This will NOT work for multiplayer, unless you are playing over a LAN, so you have to run the game from a different shortcut without console or devmode in order to play online.

First you turn on one of the switches and don't enter the room for sometime, till the light inside is heated up. Then switch that light off, and then turn the second one on and enter the room. Take something thin and bendable like a bobby pin or paperclip, put it in the key slot and twist until it kind of the shape of the key hole and when you hear a click turn the door and it should be unlocked. or take a hanger and put it in the side of the door and push it in and pull.

It is not in halo combat evolved proper, but you can probably get mods with a gravity hammer in it for halo custom edition. It is in halo 2 used by Tartarus but you cannot wield it. In halo 3 you can wield it i multiplayer and campaign. I have no idea about halo odst but it was not in the list of weapons not in odst so I imagine it is in there.

In Campaign, you can find them near Covenant bases. InMultiplayer they are scattered on vehicle-allowed maps. Also you can spawn them from the Dev console.
