Yes hamsters love greens just don't give them to many. Just remember that spinach and other fresh food (fruits and veggies) are treats and should not be given in a large quantity. Hamsters should only have a small amount of fresh food each day.

Well, this is probably not your answer but please don't buy those cages,buy a bin one you can customize it however you want put any toy and anything but the bin has to be 360 square inches because the pet store cages are way to small and the wheels are probably way to small I got my hamster a 12 inch wheel and you should get something bigger than 6 or 7 inches.
How can you tell if pine is kiln-dried?
Kiln dried Pine will be much lighter and show no signs of any sap or sap leakage. Sometimes will have a more "whitish" tint to the wood, not as yellow as non kiln dried, but that is not always the case. Some studs will actually be stamped as so.
