Despite our love for pets & other animals, it is a necessary part of life that animals die to prevent suffering, disease, over-population, or to be a food source. It is our responsibility to be as humane as possible when this happens.

The real Holocaust that was done to Jews by Nazi Germany is truly a horrible crime against humanity and not comparable to what happens to animals. In-fact the Nazis attempted to justify the murder of people by saying that they were no better than animals.

The Holocaust is what it is, no matter who is learning about it in the present, if that is the way on which it impacts upon you, then fair enough, but that is in the reciever, not the sender.

Essentially anyone can violate Human Rights, from a personal level to a massive or collective level, be it unjustly imprisoning someone or impeding their rights to live.

Gypsies, mentally/physically disabled, homosexuals, all foreigners non aryan descent were blamed and killed in concentration camps and in other manners alongside the jews. They were all deemed a strain on society and were extinguished.
