Who invented the first ever beer keg?
The Irish
Evidence shows that thousands of years ago, beer was spread throughout the Celtic nations by Irish clans. Later, this spread to mainland Europe, and eventually made its way to Germanic tribes, who were also known for brewing skills. This was the first "modern" beer. So to answer your question, it was the Irish/Celts.

If a keg of beer freezes will it still be good?
Depends on how drunk you are when you try to drink it again.
To brew beer at home, you need a beer brewing kit including a fermenter, bottling equipment, cleaner, etc. The ingredients will vary depending on what type of beer you want to make but you will always need yeast to ferment the beer and malts to give the beer flavor.
Does light beer contain fewer calories but more alcohol content then regular beer?
In Australia light beer means less alcohol, that is done by adding less sugar or malt, resulting in a beer also lighter in calories.
Not sure about other countries.
In America, it refers to less calories. To achieve this, they use more water and less malt and hops, hence reducing the ABV%. WELL ONLY IF YOU DRINK IT !!!!!!!
One oz of yeast is 28.34 gm . That is approximately two tablespoons.
According to Martinelli's Website, glass bottles have a shelf life of 3 years and plastic bottles have a shelf life of 2 years. I read that 1 person used a bottle that was 5 years old without any problems, however it turns darker with age.

Is red stripe beer brewed in Canada?
Both. Beer is simply an alcoholic drink (most usually) made from barley, hops, water and fermented with yeast.
"Lager" is actually a verb from the German "to store" - this refers to a long maturation process which is carried out at low temperature. Most commonly "lager" means that it has been fermented at low temperatures (8-12C) with specific strains of yeast that will actively ferment at that temp, and then cold matured (though usually for an exceptionally short time compared to the traditional method).
The other type of beer (generally - it's not always clear cut) would be an ale which are generally fermented at higher temperatures (16-24C). Red Stripe is a lager beer, however.
How many 20 oz glasses of beer do you get out of a keg?
If you are talking about a full size keg, then it is about 165 12oz beers, or 124 16oz beers.
If you are talking about a half keg, then it is about 82 12oz beers, or 62 16oz beers.
Obviously there are other sizes, but those are the main ones.
What ratio of yeast sugar and water should you use to make distillation occur?
To make 5 gallons of jungle juice, use 2 grams of yeast and a 5-pound bag of sugar. Unless you are using a ton of fruit in your brew, don't worry to much about the sugar level in there, as they wont really come up enough to overwhelm your yeast. If you are using concentrates, read the label and get the sugar level from there. Simply deduct it from your 5 pounds of sugar, and you will be okay. Note: once the sugar is consumed by the yeast, which will be about 3-4 days, you can strain your brew using a simple coffee pot. Place your brew into a bottle, or series of bottles and set aside. The longer you hold them the better your brew will taste, but you can drink them at this point.
Yeast is a microscopic fungus, and are common as the dusty "bloom" on fruit and grapes.
The yeasts in wine/beer/cider digest sugars to generate the energy they need.
Useful waste products are alcohol and carbon dioxide.
What stores carry blue ribbon malt syrup?
Yes Blue Ribbon Malt is sold at www.eckraus.com, but it isn't called Blue Ribbon Malt anymore. Premier Malt Limited has always produced what we know as Blue Ribbon Malt. They have since dropped the name Blue Ribbon Malt and just starting calling it by their own name. My grandmother used to brew beer as I do today and that's what I use. In the 60s and 70s there weren't many brewing stores and the options on brewing supplies were limited. So, you pretty much used whatever was available to you and at the time the most popular was Blue Ribbon Malt Dark. So go to this website order you some up and brew or bake away.
It depends on how much beer those 200 people are willing to drink. But my guess is 40.
It's probably too late for you now, but 40 kegs would probably serve a small town. 1 keg contains ~15.5 gallons of beer. That's about 165 12oz cans of beer. Take a look at your guy to girl ratio. Guys will drink more than girls and you can maybe assume 1-2 beers per guy and 0-1 per girl each hour. This is also assuming your friends are all alcoholics...
Let's just assume an even split of 100 guys and 100 girls at a 4 hour party. Worst case scenario is you go through about 300 beers/hour for 4 hours. That's 1200 beers for this wicked awesome party. 1200/165 = 7 kegs. I have never in my life seen a party go through that many kegs.
That's an awful lot of beer that will cost a small fortune. I personally would not buy any more than 4-5 kegs. There are a lot of things you can't account for such as pre-gamers, beer haters, waiting lines and people that need to drive.
2 maybe 3 if this is a wedding reception think about the grooms buddies, are they a bunch of animals and still single, or are they a bunch of pompous a**holes that talk a big game but in actuality if their gf or wife sees the pink isod wearing douche bag anywhere near the keg she'll kick his a**.

Where can you buy sleeman's beer in the US?
Well, their website is EXTREMELY tough to navigate and doesn't even have some of the brands listed, so it's hard to tell for sure.
I live in Michigan and used to sell it, so I know we have it here in SE Michigan... beyond that, I'm not sure what other states have it.
. Was on their website - very easy to navigate - and saw all of their beers avail - u can contact their consumer relations dept via the website or facebook page (they answered my questions very quickly on the fb page). Facebook.com/sleemanbeer
There are some simple rules but they are not universal and depend on storage vessel and conditions. Beer can keep for several months but a few weeks is more normal, and years is a rare thing. Certain red wines and most sweet wines (especially whites) will keep and improve for many decades, even centuries. Fortified wines similarly. Most common, cheap white and red wines will deteriorate after a year or two, some long before that. Cost itself is not a good indicator - I have drunk very cheap sweet wines and reds 2-3-4+ years old and they have been fantastic compared to when young. But they are exceptions.
