Is there an inexpensive hitch for a two bike rack for a 2004 Pilot?
I have a 2006 Pilot, and after research, wound up buying a 2" hitch from U-haul. (It was the same model as that from a hitch manufacturer, but I can't recall the manufacturer.) You can install it yourself. Look under the back of the Pilot first to see (and verify) which bolt holes you will use. Mine used six on the frame - 3 on each side. I had to tap a number of the holes to get the bolts on the threads, since the holes were not covered, and had a lot of dirt in them. To attach bikes, you don't need the expensive hitch (and hitch installation) from Honda, since that includes wiring for trailer brake lights. I bought a 2" Swingman 3 bike platform type rack over the internet for the bikes. As I recall, the hitch and the rack were about $250 apiece.

VTM-4 and ABS indicator light Honda Pilot?
Yes, you are screwed ... you should have bought a Toyota 4-Runner!
My car is doing exactly the same thing and I have yet to solve the problem. I went to the Honda Dealer Service Dept. this morning and they couldn't successfully down-load the error data from the computer (they were having problems with their equipment and have asked me to stop by later in the day. Other postings on the web are suggesting to me that my ABS Modulator may be going out and I'd have to replace at approximately $1,500! My Pilot is a 2004 EX-L and I have had over a dozen of these types of problems ... thankfully, most of them occurred while the car was still on bumper to bumper warrenty.

How do you install day time running lights on Honda Pilot?
Well, I just recently purchased a 2004 EX-L RES from the States and imported it into Canada. I have received so much good information from this site, I thought I should contribute something myself.
One of the Canadian import requirements was the installation of Daytime Running Lights. I don't want to get into the debate regarding daytime running lights, but suffice it to say that I feel better having them in a community with a large retirement population.
Initially, I ordered a module from Hamsar based on the instructions on this website. However I ordered a Shop Manual and noticed that the headlights are switched on by closing the ground, so I couldn't use the module. In talking with the Engineers at Hamsar, their solution was to either install the OEM or aftermarket fog lights, and use them as the running lights. While I would like the OEMfog lights eventually, I am not in the position to buy them right now.
As a solution, I read this post at acuramdx.org about a simple relay solution. This turns the low beams on when the car is turned on. However, they are always on… both when you start the vehicle and when you turn on the park lights. I was concerned about the load having the lights on when starting the vehicle and I wanted to have the park lights operating normally without the headlights on.
The following is how I got it to work:

Maintance indicator light on a Honda Element came on what is it?
If it is just the Maintence Required light then it is just telling you the oil needs changing or a scheduled maintence is due. Your owners manual will list the exact item that needs attention. If, on the other hand it is the Check Engine light, then the computer has detected a problem with the emissions system and you need to take it to a professional.
