for many reasons. Sometimes they do it because the honestly know no better, other times they do it because they cannot stand to turn the back on the addict, some do it because they are afraid if they don't the addict may become violent, or they think they are helping him/her until they get him into rehab or an intervention. When an addict is treated it is also very important that the family be treated as well. Addiction is a family disease.
What particular behaviors are associated with individuality?
It could be anything. If you're talking about 'individuality' then people act in their each INDIVIDUAL manner. The behaviour could be anything, but it will be associated with that person (how they think, act, or see things, or even just some things that they like do often). Personally, I think that your question is rather stupid, but that is just my INDIVIDUAL and personal opinion. Each person is different, some people call others weird, but we are all eccentric in our own mad INDIVIDUAL way.
Thankyou very much, I'm here till Thursday.
Someone who is a legend.
Is strong in mind different to strong in body and will it show differently?
yes , stronger mind is better than stronger body as it not only helps to cope with mental but also physical problems , its all in what you believe
its difficult but if you can think in a way where you feel no pain , it wont but if you make your body stronger you would get hurt
remember : body has limits but mind has none.

Body strength and mental strength are quite different, although there's a distinct relationship, of course. In my experience those who've relied all their lives on their physical strength - athletes, people who work with their muscles rather than, say, at a desk - cope well if they lose that strength for one reason or another provided the mental strength was there in the first place and still remains.
I know former medal-winning athletes, famed in their own field, who've ended up in a wheelchair or otherwise severely disabled and who've gone on to achieve doctorates or renown in many fields frequently unrelated to their previous achievements.
I also know people who've barely nudged a brain cell into action for most of their lives and who, faced with bodily weakness, simply dissolve into a sort of mental tofu in which remembering where they put the television remote control is a demanding (but desperately essential!) task.
So, it all depends on the person. If strength of mind and the determination to keep going is present, a person will do well with or without strength of body. It might take a while to get there faced with what might be a radically altered life, but get there they do, in the end.
In the same way, people who've made a living from physical activity and who then retire are able to enjoy life as much as ever, just differently. These aren't the people who lounge on a couch channel-surfing; they're the folk with strength of mind. Visible or public achievement isn't a factor: the goal is to be happy and to help those around you to be happy.
If strength of mind is lacking, the person won't do well regardless of physical strength; they end up wrapping themselves in their own heads; never a nice outcome.
If we think about it, we all know both types of people, and they answer this question without being directly asked!
It's important to remember strength of mind is totally unrelated to opinionated stubbornness or general bigotry. Some like to suggest those qualities are indicative of strength of mind, but they're quite the opposite.

Why do gay people face discrimination?
Gay people face discrimination due to prejudice and stereotypes held by individuals or institutions that may not support or accept sexual orientations beyond heterosexuality. Discrimination can stem from cultural, religious, or personal beliefs that contribute to marginalizing individuals who identify as gay. Additionally, legal and societal norms that do not provide equal rights and protections for the LGBTQ+ community can also perpetuate discrimination.
Why do I assume that other people are upset when i am feeling guilty about something?
This is likely due to projection of your own emotions onto others. When you are feeling guilty, you may interpret others' behaviors as being upset because that is how you are feeling. It is important to recognize this tendency and address your own emotions before assuming how others feel.

I really shut down and can' t speak with a person who is inconsiderate, and once i encounter it i take a big step out of their space. If they take alot of space i get them to confront me with their behaviour and i sizzle them down with a reciprocative action, like denying their actual acquaintance with friends that i like.

Is it true teenagers can prepare now for independence in adulthood?
This is the time they should be preparing for such. I don't believe society is conducive to this today, however. With excessive dress codes, bullying from teachers of opposing views, political correctness, and so many rules, it is hard to learn to be independent. Learning independence means freedom to make mistakes without a safety net, and receiving whatever natural consquences full-strength without outside help or interference. People learn to be independent when they fail on their own and reach rock bottom and then are forced by the environment and natural laws to pick themselves back up. It is like learning to swim, you have to jump off into the deep end, and you either sink or learn to swim. It seems the current political regimes fear people learning their own power and reaching their own potential, so they promote learned helplessness as a social control mechanism.
Public assistance is about like hormones or drugs. In small doses, it can help. It gives people the means to get back on their feet. However, in large doses, it can cripple a person and make them unable to learn to be independent, just like the body learns to adjust to abnormal levels of drugs by losing the ability to produce similar chemicals. A life of ease for nothing is the worse curse anyone can put on another.
So no, it is not very hopeful that teens these days have a chance to truly be independent. However, that should not turn them off from trying. Young people can and do make a difference.
What would happen if clothes didn't exist?
If clothes didn't exist, people would have to find other ways to protect themselves from the elements and maintain modesty. This could involve using natural materials like leaves or animal hides, or adapting their behavior to accommodate the lack of clothing. Additionally, societal norms and standards of modesty, hygiene, and protection from the environment would likely evolve in different ways.
Would chaos necessarily occur if money didn't exist?
Define money.
If we define money as a fiat currency unit we can look to the numerous examples of hyperinflation and see the human reaction (Mexican Peso, Confederate Dollar, German Mark, etc.) we see a brief period of chaos and a new store of wealth takes their place (either a new fiat currency unit, gold, silver or barter)
If we define money as any store of wealth, I don't think it could simply "not exist" because mankind for thousands of years has used some form of "money" to store wealth whether it is food, gold, silver, cattle, cowrie shells, etc.
Why don't some countries let women have rights?

Why do you feel worse when you win second place than if you win third place?
It's known as the "silver medal paradox," where winning second place can feel worse than winning third place, due to higher expectations. Second place may highlight the missed opportunity for first place, while third place can still be seen as an achievement. The perception of just missing out on the top spot may lead to feelings of disappointment or regret.
