What is Normal blood pressure 87 year old?

Blood pressure numbers should run less than 120/80, no matter what adult age you are (over 18). Blood pressure readings consistently running 121-140/80-89 means you have a condition called "Pre-Hypertension," and you should be monitoring your blood pressure frequently, under a doctor's care. Some physicians will start antihypertensives at these readings, but many will suggest that you monitor it yourself (frequently) at home, keeping a journal of the readings. BP readings greater than 141/90 on a regular basis means that you have advanced into Hypertension and should be on antihypertensives under a doctor's care.

Hope this answers your question .

How can you overcome high blood pressure?

Use garlic to soothe high blood pressure.

This is not a good option, as garlic acts as a natural anticoagulant, so unless you are positive you don't have any bleeding problems, and don't take aspirin or any other blood thinners, then garlic could be an option. The best thing you can do is see a doctor, lose weight, exercise and eat healthy. Garlic reacts with a variety of different drugs.

How do you choose a topic to write or speak about?

You must choose whatever is interesting to you. If your teacher has given you a list, pick the one which seems more interesting. If you have no list, click on the Related Question below for some ideas to get started!

This would have to come from you. It would be more interesting for you to choose something that you either like now or would like to know about. You can also pick something that is of extreme interest now to the general public, like politics, war, compassion, or a particular industry that is disappearing, global warming, etc.

If your teacher has given you several options, always pick the one which seems most interesting! Writing is much easier when it is about something you like.

If you are starting from scratch, just pick whatever topic you like best - write about something you already know.

Does your blood pressure go up when you are sleeping?

Make sure you can breathe though your nose at night...my bp when I wake up use to be 210/105 or close to that in the mornings. However I found out after months with this what was causing it . I started fishing in my pond and was eating the fish late at night around 9 or 10. My bp in the morning was close to normal . I was fishing like a mad man thinking it was the fish helping my problem but it wasn't the fish it was spicy coating I was putting on it . It was hot enough to clean out my sinus cavities so I was able to breathe better while sleeping. I stopped fishing like a mad man and started taking an allergy pill before going to bed. Also I use a little afrin nasil spray at night for insurance . I still eat spicy food in the evenings and watch my sodium intake as well . I know you think I'm nuts but it took me a while to figure it out . I am happier now that I'm not going to have stoke or worse death from high bp.

What does 150 by 80 blood pressure suggest?

150/60 = systolic bp / diastolic bp .... this means your systolic BP is elevated and needs to be taken care of unless you were really stressed out or exercising when the BP was taken. Otherwise a BP of 150/60 is treatable medically (pills) or you can try diet and exercise if you are overweight that will bring it down also. Textbook normal is 120/80 but your 60 diastolic is fine... cardiologist would say the lower the better as long as you are not dizzy or constantly fatigued.
