What is the value of Baldwin piano model L 142156?
I recently purchased ( June 18Th 2010) a Baldwin Model L from BHA Piano in Dayton Ohio for the sum of $7,000 and that included delivery, setup, and one free tuning. The serial number on my Baldwin is 138388 so I think it is from around 1958. It is Mahogany in color. The cabinet has some minor issues in the way a slight fading in spots from the sun. It appears to have new hammers and the keys may have new covers since they look like new. After pricing other Baldwin model L's I feel I got a great deal - However it was just tuned and I have three keys that went out of tune within 2 weeks. BHA is going to send someone out to evaluate the piano and they told me they would give me full credit if there is a problem that can be rectified. I love my Baldwin MODEL L so much that if they tell me they can't fix it I may just have the pin block replaced at my expense if it can be done for $2000 or less.
What is the value of a Violin marked Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1716?
In short, priceless. If this is a genuine Stradivari Violin, it will be worth well over $3,000,000 at auction, according to the research I've done due to having found one of these from my deceased grandparents, who themselves have had it in their family for over 160 years. The first thing you will need to do is to have it appraised and find out if it is indeed genuine.
The problem is that almost all of the 600 or so instuments made by Antonio Stradivari are accounted for. That in combination with the fact that it is perfectly legal for any violinmaker to put a label like the one you mention inside his instruments ,as long as he doesn't try to sell the instrument as the genuine article, make it EXTREMELY unlikely that your violin is anything more than an instrument made "in the style of". That being said ,your viloin could still have substantial value. Many "copies" of Stradivari violins are themselves worth many thousands of dollars .The only way to tell for sure is to have a qualified luthier look at your instrument, again keeping in mind that the likelihood of it being a genuine Stradivari would something in the neighborhood of one in a Trillion.
What is the 1999 Gibson SG Special worth?
There are several price levels of SG Specials. The normal-shiny-finish versions in all original factory condition-stock pickups and tuners, etc-might sell for $700-$900 depending on condition and if it comes with a case. ANY change-installing new pickups or refinishing cuts price dramatically...There are also "faded" and "worn" finish models that are much lower priced. There are large variations based on condition...there is NO real set price for used guitars, just what someone is willing to pay for it.

Is peavey a brand electric guitar?
Absolutely! My wife just got me a Peavey Acoustic. Great guitar. My experience was some spanish guitar when I was a teen. It certainly took me a while to get my fingers used to metal strings (my wife knew I wanted this kind of guitar), but the sound is beautiful.
Some people say it's a little heavy, so maybe it's not so great for a kid, but believe me: When I play "Give a little bit" people think it's Supertramp for real!
How many strings are on a bass?
Depends what kind of bass, on a double bass there are 4, electric basses come with 4 or 5 strings usually although 6 strings isn't rare and you can get up to 11 or 12 string basses which have the same range as a grand piano. How do you get information on your Baldwin Organ?
There is a Baldwin Organ In my church that I would like to get repaired. How can the company help us to restore it?
well depends on the person. heres some steps to finding the perfect set.
1. pick a color and how big. most are 5-piece sets with a snare, a bass, 2 toms, and a floor tom and some cymbals
2.find a brand. maybe you want a tama set. maybe a pearl. maybe even a mudwig
3.find a price. a good 5 piece set is around 700-800 dollars. a advanced set is 1000 and up on things like 8 piece.
4. find some heads. buy remo or evans or even a mix. search on youtube how they sound and pick one that fits you.
5. find a pedal. this hits the bass. axis is pricey but the sound is awesome.
6. find cymbals. these are things like zildian and sabian
7. find drumsticks. things like vic firth are good.
what makes it most fun though is learning to play it then hitting it and listening to the beat
Is rockburn a good electric guitar?
never heard of it, but a quick google search and you'll see for sure from reviews. BC Rich is my favorite, sure they look death metal for most but they are very unique and everyone (big rockstars) have played them.
May 2013
To the best of my knowledge, Rockburn is just a name slapped onto a Student model Chinese made guitar. Rockburn also sells and distribute drums and other musical instruments. Being a student type guitar the manufacturing process is as much quality as any and since most mfgs are using CNC machines to cut and produce them quickly. So the machining may be nice, but the question lies in the wood used, gluing electronics, hardware and paint. These would be the areas to skimp.
However, as a beginner/student why go pay for a guitar that you may never keep interest in or plain give up. If you accomplish the desire of playing, once your skills improve, go treat yourself to a step up. Many next step guitar companies have affordable lines to choose from. Like Fender, Dean, Gibson, Epiphone, Jay Turser and on and on.
Be realistic in you first guitar purchase and don't spent money unnecessarily.
Have confidence in you skills to constantly improve and be an Artist!

How much does a concert flute cost?
It depends on a lot of things. There are some student concert flutes you could get for under 100 dollars; heck, I have an Amazon-loving friend who has a 20-dollar flute from some dubious Chinese company. Unfortunately, those don't sound as professional as hand-made flutes, such as by Powell, or even a Yamaha. If you're looking for a student flute that won't break every five minutes like the one said deal-loving friend owns, you'll be out probably about 300-500 dollars, unless it's used. My first flute was a used student Yamaha I got used from Music&Arts for about $200. Right now, I use a Di Zhao flute that was 1070 dollars and is still an intermediate student flute.
What is the best value of a 1968 fender guitar in fair condition?
Probably somewhere between $1,000-2,500... If you put it up on eBay (or something similar), you'll probably get an idea of how much people are willing to pay, but I'm assuming it's worth about $2,000.
