Play it and see. I've owned so many guitars I don't even look at the headstock , I'll play a few riffs or scales and see how well it holds up.

how to tell a good guitar from a bad:

*what is it made out of , plywood is terrible , where as say alder or mahogany are the industry standard for "tone". Google will tell you if you can find the model and or series.

*how good does it sound? unplugged and plugged in assuming it's electric

*can you play every fret on the neck without the notes instantly dying or getting an annoying amount of buzz

*is it comfortable to play and slide up or down the neck

*are the electronics in good places , I hate when my hand hits the volume knob for example when I'm soloing.

down the road you can do the following to improve the sound and reliabillity

put new strings on the guitar (youtube can help)

adjust the string height as low as possible to make it effortless

buy new guitar tuners off of say ebay , I recommend Grovers

and a guitar processor will make even no name guitars sound incredible.

It depends on what kind of music youre playing, if you like the slayer style thrash go with the metal zone, but if youre looking for a more metalcore Bring me the Horizon get the metal core, add a few other pedals Delay pedals and you'll be set.

It would depend on the condition of the guitar. They have been sold in the past couple of years for anywhere between 850.00 and 1300.00. They do not come up for sale too often. Most people want to hold onto one if they are lucky enough to have it!

Well the Guitar is a 1992 model made in Korea and without seeing the rest i can not tell you the price exactly. You need to know all these models were ran from 1986-1999 and then discontinued. None of them with all original parts are usually worth more than $200.00 and most the time just about $125.00 in Pristine condition.

These guitars along with their sister telecaster models (T-310) made for lesser years are good guitars for the most part but not worth alot by far. They come with Single,Single,Humbucker or 3 Single coils in the S-310 model. The T-310 comes with a standard telecaster looking pick-ups. They both can come with a "Hockey Stick" looking Headstock or what is called a Bat Wing Headstock. They changed these throughout the years of making them.

Realistically anything is worth what someone will pay for an item but in all fairness if you want to sell one or just know what the price range for one, it is worth the above prices. In this day and age i have never seen one of these sell for more than $200.00 dollars. Even though a Seafoam Green colored one in Pristine condition will fetch a little more due to the limited run in this color. The Yellow,Red,Black,White and so on are what i stated above in value.

Hallet Davis & Co. started with serial 163000 in 1938. Your serial 163344, then, would have been produced fairly early on in the year. As a pre-1960 build, we can also assume this is a grand piano; Hallet Davis did not start producing uprights until after 1960.

I go to the Dominican every summer, but I've never seen a guitar shop. I have seen guitars in supermarkets like Jumbo and such.

I think that with no major scratches or dents you should be able to get $500 easy.

you can get a drum kit for about £100 but it wont be very good. my first kit was a cb kit , that was about £250 still not very good but it is for starters like yourself.

The 4-0 is a better made flute than the student model 18-0. The 4-0 is a low end professional horn.

A drum kit is no decibels. The decibels depends how close you measure to the bat. The closer - the louder! And the louder you play the more decibels you get. The distance is very important if you measure with a sound pressure level meter.

There's no way to tell you how much your trumpet is worth without seeing it in person... The value of a trumpet doesn't just depend on what brand it is. It depends on age, condition, playability, among other things. If you contact a reputable instrument repair shop in your area, they can likely either tell you how much it would be worth, or give you a rough estimate.

Every flute will perform differently for each individual player. All that matters is how you sound and feel when you're playing.

I did play an older Armstrong Heritage, which was apparently their top-of-the-line model several decades ago. At the time, they were handmade; presently, Armstrong's flute are all mass-produced and I feel ill qualified to comment on the newer models. But I was very happy with my Armstrong Heritage for several years, if that is any help.

Well that depends on who is buying it.

A 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard can be worth up to $2500 by itself assuming it's in perfect condition.

The signature would add value if you're selling it to a Foreigner fan. If the buyer isn't a fan of Foreigner, the signature would be nothing more than a blemish to them.

I would start by offering the guitar for $3500 and see how many bidders you get. If it's a hot item, raise the price.
