What are 10 examples of unfair trade practices?
example
1- misrepresentation, where the product being bought is of a fake description.
2- Unfair Trade Practices by the oil companies that produce gasoline.
Only a few days following any number of occurances that could cause a decline in the production of gasoline, the oil companies that produce gasoline raise prices, usually significantly, and they continue to raise the price of gas every two to three days for weeks, even after the [often phoney] crisis is over.
In my opinion, this is an unfair trade practice that should be illegal. The reason is because the gasoline that is already in the "pipeline," from storage tanks at the refineries to gasoline already in tankers to the gasoline already in the tanks at the gasoline stations has already been paid for at the lower price. To raise the price of that gasoline is immoral.
3- Price Gouging. This is illegal, however it is a very common practice during a crisis such as shortly before until weeks after a hurricane. Price gauging is when a seller of goods greatly raises the prices of items in high demand because of the crisis. For example, following a flood, goods such as wood, paint, carpet, bedding, potable water, and several others are in high demand. Some retailers, and usually fewer wholesellers, take advantage of the high demand and gouge buyers in need of goods ruined by the flood water.
4- Monopolies.
5- Price Fixing.
6- Bid Rigging. This practice damages competition and ends up hurting the consumer or the taxpayer. It usually involves bribing government officials who wield complete or a large amount of influence over high-dollar projects such as highway construction or public housing.
7- Predatory Dumping. This usually involves a foreign company, but whoever does it is the manufacturer of a popular good like TV's, cell phones, or computers. Predatory dumping occurs when a manufacturer "dumps" its product in a market at a loss in order to force its competitors to lower their prices, thereby hurting the competitor's profits and possibly forcing it out of business.
8- Unfair Mergers

Example of line and staff organization?
Line Organisation. This is the oldest as well as the most common type of organisation. It i still used by many concerns especially the small ones. It is also known as the "Military System" as this type of organisation is usually found in the army. The characteristic feature of this type is that line of authority flows verticallty form the top most executive to the lowest subordinate throughout the entire organisational structure. The authority is greatest at the top and reduces through each successive level down the organisational scale. A variation of the pure line organisation is the departmental line organisation, under which the business enterprise is divided into several departments and the authority flows downward from the General Manger through the departmental managers to the lower subordinates. The departmental heads are independent of each other and enjoy equal status.
1 What was the key weakness that Škoda was able to identify?
Skoda able to identify Brand Position was one of the weakness for Skoda in the highly competitive fragmented market by positioning the brand as low budget or low quality vehicles which caused Skoda to get 1.7% of the market share, because the company used to manufacture cars of poor image of quality, design, assembly, and materials, which leaded customers to perceive the brand image as poor image for majority consumers compare to other competitors like Ford, Peugeot, and Renault. By looking business model, example General Electric business model that say business organisation can determine its self by looking factors like Business Strengths (strong or average or weak) in the market and industry attractiveness (high or medium or low) at that market. According to that model that means the Skoda had probably weak business strength and its industry attractiveness was probably strong in the market.
The analysis gave clear direction to Skoda that there is need to Partnership with Volkswagen by raising strategic alliance between themselves which leaded the Skoda to change the negative image in the market. Also Skoda management did understood that they need to correct old perceptions by stop being defensive in promotional campaigns and change market message as Skoda owners need to be happy and contented with their cars, Also convincing users that Skoda cars were great to own and drive.
