Yes. You can have multiple browsers on a computer but one will have to be a default browser, but if you don't change that, the default browser will be the one that was on there first. So to answer your question, yes you can easily have chrome and IE at the same time, the only thing is, the non-default browsers, will come up will all these prompts saying Make ME the default browser :). It's really annoying, but it only comes up when you first open the browser.

you just open windows task manager and end process that is called IDMan.exe
