There are few applications that can be used on the Ipad to make Teleconference calls, but one such free application is actually FreeConferenceCall and is also absolutely free to download and use.

The iPad does not have an ethernet cable port, however it does have a Wi-Fi chip to allow it to connect to wireless networks.

One possible option is to use a Wireless access point (the $99 Airport Express from Apple can be set up this way and is particularly portable). These are meant to create a wireless network from a wired one, nowadays most have routers built in but you should still be able to get one as a stand alone device.

You need to make sure that your wifi network is set up before you try to connect to it. If you already use the same network for your laptop or desktop, you're good to go!

1. Open the Settings app on your iPad. The icon is grey and has a picture of clockwork gears.

2. Select WiFi from the menu. Make sure that the toggle button for WiFi is set to "ON"

3. You may have to wait a minute or two for the list of networks to populate. When you see the name of your home network, tap on it. Then enter the password for your network if you have one.

If you want your iPad to connect to your WiFi network automatically, make sure that the "Ask to Join Networks" toggle switch is set to "ON"

The number of competitors in the area largely determines what type of pricing you will have. You don't want to be known as the highest price place in town but it is equally important not to be the cheapest.
