disk defragmenter pieces fragmented memory in the hard drive of the computer in question back together to speed computer performance. if u r trying to do this on a personal computer, then it doesnt matter at all. but u should run disk cleanup first or it may take awhile to defragment.

That just happens sometimes. I'd suggest unhooking the wifi modem (usualy a box with blinking green lights), and plugging it back in after about a minute.

you probably have your itunes set to "automatically sync iPod touch when connected. if you do click on your iPod drive in your itunes side menu, then you find where it says manually sync songs, make sure that's checked and then hit apply.I hope this helps
