Apple has discontinued the 3rd generation iPod Touch. The newest model is a 5th generation.
If you still want to buy an old model, you can still an unused one from vendors such as Amazon.com. Amazon.com has an unused 8GB model for $179.99. The 32GB model is $230.99. You could also buy a used one.
If you do not want to get the latest model and are simply looking for an older model because the price is lower, I would suggest getting a 4th generation model.
