What scripture confirms King David made Jerusalem capital of israel?
This is in 2 Samuel 5:6-12 and to a lesser extent in 1 Chronicles 11:4-9. While neither explicitly uses the word capital, the fact that David took residence there as King and built his palace there is usually indicative in the ancient period as choosing something to be a capital.
2 Samuel 5:6-12: (NIV):
6 The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. The Jebusites said to David, "You will not get in here; even the blind and the lame can ward you off." They thought, "David cannot get in here." 7 Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion-which is the City of David.
8 On that day David had said, "Anyone who conquers the Jebusites will have to use the water shaft to reach those 'lame and blind' who are David's enemies." That is why they say, "The 'blind and lame' will not enter the palace."
9 David then took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built up the area around it, from the terraces inward. 10 And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.
11 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent envoys to David, along with cedar logs and carpenters and stonemasons, and they built a palace for David. 12 Then David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.

What is the address of the Prouty Mansion in Spencer MA?
Bit of a trick question in that there were two Prouty Mansions, one on Cherry Street which is still standing but a larger one that was build on 27 High Street in the late 1800's - it stood side by side with an identical mirror image mansion owned by another prominent Spencer family, the Hammonds. However the High Street Prouty Mansion burned down I believe in the early 1920s, leaving the Hammond mansion still standing at 25 High Street and which is often mistakenly believed to be the Prouty Masion. I know - I grew up there :)

How can you visit other Muslim countries after visiting Israel on your American passport?
Answer 1What I have seen as a frequent TravelerIts legal but I personally would not do it. They could turn you away. But they could turn you away for just being American with that passport. besides, almost all Muslim countries with the exception of Turkey and UAE require visas to enter the country. If you MUST visit Muslim countries and Israel all at one time, simply go to the Muslim countries first and visit Israel last. This would only work once. Once you been to Israel at all, you must use another passport or never try and get into say Syria again. Israel is a strong ally to the US and love America and will let you in no matter where you've been essentially. But to answer shortly again, Its possible but rather risky and generally not common. I personally have 3 passports, EU, Swiss, and US. I travel on EU almost always and have used the Swiss when I went to israel and Egypt all in the same vacation last summer. Obtain as many passports as you can through ancestry. That's another topic.
Answer 2
In Israel it is permissible to ask for them to stamp a looseleaf page so that you can rip it out of your passport when you intend later to go to a Muslim-majority country that does not allow those with Israel stamps to enter. However, if you plan to enter or leave Israel from an Arab crossing (Taba, Egypt, or one of the three Jordanian crossings) the Arabs will not be as kind. Many Muslim-majority countries will reject you if you have a stamp from any of these crossings because they know that they go to Israel.
In my view, though, it is not worth going to a country which is actively trying to prevent your entry.

Why do Christians go on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem?
Jerusalem is the one universal holy site in all of Chrisitianity. Every christian group, Mormons, Lutherans, Catholics, Orthodox Christians whoever, have holy sites for their specific sect (Salt Lake city for Mormons, Rome for Catholics, Mt Athos for Orthodox Christians) but every christian holds Jerusalem as a holy site because it is the site of the begining of the christian faith, the crusifixion of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was crusified on the mount in Jerusalem and it is this ultimate sacrafise and resurection which led to the original foundation of the faith. Pilgrimages to Jerusalem began soon after the crusifixion but were banned under the Roman Empire, a pagan kingdom. The Pilgramage of Helen, the mother of Roman Emperor Constantine marked the begining of a new Era, she constructed upon the claimed site of the crusifiction the Church of the Nativity, the oldest sanctified Church in Christendom. Her son made it legal to practice Christianity as well as the state religion of the Roman Empire.
Christians going toJerusalem flourished while it was under Eastern cotroll of the Byzantines, they lost control to the Arabs from the south and thus the crusades begun. While Catholics controlled the Holy Land, knights guarded the pilgrims to Jerusalem, check points, rest stops, and holy sites along the way were all guarded and protected by the church and the Knights templar. Pilgrimages ceeded in the 1200's when the Muslims officially took back the city and Holy Land, thus catholics refused to return to the holy land
Today pilgrimages for Islam, Christianity and Judaism are popular regions to visit the Tri-Holy City of Jerusalem.
Because they want to walk in what they perceive to be the footsteps of Jesus.
By visiting the places Jesus was said to have been they feel they can be closer to him.
