Give an example of a time when you had to handle a major crisis or problem?
A work-related problem I had recently was dealing with a customer in retail. I work part-time as a cashier and many times no matter how many times we, as cashier/managers/supervisors explain the store's refund/exchange policy customers refuse and begin to argue/yell/complain/shout and get an attitude. This is frequent in retail but even more frequent in my case since I'm young and many times older customers feel they can push me around and manipulate me to get what they want.
The customer did not understand how I explained the exchange policy to her. Started yelling and even scaring nearby customers. I told her I would call the manager to have her come explain it to her and left the hectic, stressful situation to another spot in the department. In the end the manager took care of it and the customer ended up apologizing to me.
In the end, this question is going to be something you have actually experienced, rather than a false answer which is simply rehearsed. Interviewers should be able to pick up on the honesty of any answers during an interview. The best reaction to any interview is to PREPARE. Expect this question at every interview! If they don't ask it... well, at least you'll have preparation practice for next time (that is, if you aren't extended an offer). Prospective employers don't care so much about the problem itself; they want to know how you handled and solved it. Good luck!

What is the best way to tell a future employer the reason you were fired from your last job?
If you are in the position where you think you are about to be terminated, find a few people whom you can use as a reference later on, possibly including the employer him/her self. It's quite rare that an employer will refuse to give a former employee (even one who's been terminated) a decent reference (especially in this day and age of litigation). So if you can arrange that you and the employer will say something to the effect that it was "mutually agreed to end the employment relationship" you do not have to say that you were ever terminated. (You can also have the employer's reference checked through reference checking services to ensure s/he is giving you a fair reference. Since a bad reference can kill your job opportunities, it might be well worth your money to do this.) If you are terminated, however, and your employer refuses to give you a reference of any kind, and you did not secure references from others in the organization, then, at least, call it termination, not firing. It sounds much less unfavorable. Second, unless you offer up the information, or the potential employer is really grilling you on your employment history, there are various ways to talk around how your employment ended. Sometimes, it's sufficient to say that there was not a good fit between you and the organization; if there was turmoil in the organization, you can remark that the company was going through difficult times. In no case should you make a negative remark about the company or the former employer. If the termination resulted in a gap in your work history, you can say that you are being careful in selecting your next job because you want it to be the right one. Always be gracious and objective in your comments. Finally, if you're asked flat out whether or not you were fired, don't deny it. Use the language of termination, admit that it happened, offer up your story as briefly, fairly and openly as possible, emphasize how much you learned from the incident, and that it will never happen again. Remember, lots of people lose their jobs; the trick is to accept it, learn from it, and move on. Good luck. Clare Keating for 3C Communications Consulting Group.

#1: The ideal life is one that is not lived as an animal. One in which every action is considered beforehand for its consequences in this world and in eternity.
#2: With regard to one's own spiritual well-being, the ideal life is the one in which all needs are met (spiritual need = requirement for that which is necessary in order to attain ultimate pleasure and satisfaction). What these needs actually are, is a great philosophical question that requires much work to answer.
When answering this question, think of what motivates you to keep going on your job. Discuss what projects and responsibilities do you enjoy tackling, and what gives you a sense of satisfaction upon completion.
What do you regard as the significant achievement in your life?
* My most-substantial accomplishment was completing my degree course while undergoing a series of treatments for mis-diagnosed ultra-rapid cycling bipolar disorder. Completing that degree was the hardest thing I've ever done. That experience alone introduced me to knowledge and understanding about my disorder to the extent that I knew about the disorder than did my psychiatrist. I also knew more about the possible treatments and side-effects, which led to my most-substantial personal accomplishment to date: being taken seriously and actually having some say in matters regarding my own body.
As to my success, I am now on the right medication (due to my suggestions about my treatment), and I have had the confidence in my studies and my experience to complain about the shocking lack of due care I was subjected to, prior to discovering my disorder by myself (I had to convince my psychiatrist, though, and that took 15 months). All this I mark as a great success.
If it hadn't been for my degree and the difficulties I faced, I wouldn't have discovered my true illness and wouldn't have had the success I've had till now with standing up for myself. This success, incidentally, has spread to other areas of my life: I am more assertive now than ever before; my knowledge assures me that I know what I'm speaking about.
This answer is long-winded, I know, but I couldn't have merely written the bare basics without confusing people.
