Go to Autozone and ask. 2005 Spectra needed 10mm wrench, 12,14 mm socket wrench. back brake needed spcial tool for 3/8" rachet wrench to turn the caliper clockwise back into itself. It looks like a silvery hollow cube to fit many difent callipers. They sell it $10-11.00 They might also turn the rotors for you. Just did it two days ago. Curt

I had a similar thing happen on a Ford Mondeo 2002, and it has just happened to me today on the Kia Sedona. I expect it is a problem with the fuel pressure to the fuel rail being too low, which usually means either a faulty sensor or wiring, or at worst a worn fuel pump (expensive)! could also be fault codes in the ECU, need to take it to the dealership and get them to sort it.

I am a pretty accomplished shade tree mechanic. I just finished doing this and it took me about six hours, so it's not an easy task.

1st Remove the air filter tube

2nd Remove the radiator fans (requires removal of radiator hose and engine lift bracket)

3rd Remove the alternator

4th Remove the AC compressor

Put every thing back in reverse

Pull a vacuum on the AC system

Recharge the system with 134A freon

2005 models and earlier had a timing belt.

2006 models and newer have a timing chain.

First, disconnect the positive terminal on the battery. Then there is 2 nuts on either end of the manifold and 5 other 13mm bolts between the to nuts (DO NOT MIX THEM UP!). Then there is also three 13mm bolts on the firewall passenger side of the engine holding on the lift hook, also you need to take off 2 13mm bolts on the top holding the wire MiG bracket on, numerous 10mm bolts holding on sensors to the top of the manifold. Then there are the power booster brake vacuum line and two vacuum hoses to the throttle body that need to come off too, not to mention 4 13mm bolts holding the throttle body on it (first, loosen the radiator clamps holding the air induction system to the throttle body itself) and one 12mm bolt on the backside of the throttle body itself. Be very careful not to damage the throttle body gasket between the intake and the throttle body! (paper)- intake=(metal)

The low side AC service port is located behind the left side of the radiator. On the engine side. You will have to remove the black air tube that is attached to the air filter box to gain access to the service port. The service port will be an aluminum tube with a black cap on it.

No. I recently had my key break off in the ignition in a 2004 Kia Sedona. I had a locksmith remove it and make replacement keys that he was afraid might be coded because of the large size but after making 2 new spares, we discovered they were not coded which would have caused the engine to shut down after a few seconds. I can;t speak for all model years but in 2004 they were not coded.
