Would you tell you where the fuse is for the radio?
There is a difficult-to-see panel on the inside of the vehicle near the floorboard on the driver's side. I think the one for the radio may also handle the power mirrors but I'm not sure.
Confirmed. On a 2001 Carnival LS, the fuse for the radio is the same one indicated for the power mirrors, and its the fuse for the console clock as well. There is also a fuse marked "Audio" in the engine compartment fuse box, but not sure what that is for.
Why does it cost so much to get your oil changed in the 2006 Sadona?
The reason why it costs so much to change the oil in your 2006 Sedona is because 1) It takes 6 quarts of oil to maintain the engine, unlike more conventional V6 engines which only require 4 quarts. and 2) Kia uses an internal oil filter, which is super easy to change if you are doing it yourself (i.e. not messy at all unlike conventional filters). But, the cost for the filter averages $12, rather than $2 or 3 for a conventional filter.
Where is the crankshaft sensor on a 2004 Kia Sedona?
We just replaced this, and it was inside the motor I think. I know they had to take off the plastic covering then open up the engine part, and it was right on top. Cost me about $110 with a new serpentine belt too.
Where is the oil filter located in a Kia Sadona 2006?
I myself have a 2006 KIA Sedona. I use to have a 2005 but the dealer here in Fort Myers, Florida dropped it of their lift for its second oil change. It is sad to say that the dealership was too arrogant even though they were negligent. I have to drive 2 hours away to get the 06. To answer your question, the new Kia Sedona 2006 is now using a "cartidge type" oil filter (Part # 26320 3C100). It is located on top of the engine. You need to remove 4 10mm bolts on the fancy engine cover. It you look right on top of this cover, near the battery, you will see an engraving on the cover "OIL FILTER" This design is similar to diesel engines. Pay extra attention to the 2 O-rings that needs to sit properly on its flange. GOOD LUCK!!!
How do you make the engine light go away in your 2002 Kia Sedona?
This one is easy.. somtimes the Check Engine light comes on because the fuel cap was not secured tightly after fueling. To reset C.E.L remove the negative battery cable from battery teminal wait 30 seconds. Then reconnect and secure batttery cable. If after starting your sedona the light stays off.Problem solved, If C.E.L returns there is probably another fault causing this. 2004 Kia Sedona rear brakes come out of adjustment causing premature wear of fronyt brakes?
This recently happened to me. The rear brake adjusters became frozen in place. I had to spray brake cleaner at the treads. I let it work in for awhile. The adjusters are tied in with the emergency brake. You need to repeatedly press and release the e-brake pedal to have the adjusters click up. I then drove my vehicle and immediately noticed the pedal was high and it actually stopped rather quickly. If you have no luck you will need to disassemble brake shoes and springs and manually free and lubricate adjusters. Good Luck!
