Morgana has many reasons to hate Uther.
1) All her life, she has watched the executions of many magical users like her at the hand of Uther. He was willing to killing Mordred, a child she really cared about and Alvarr, who she had a kind of crush on. She knew that if he ever discovered she was a seer/sorceress, he would have her burned.
2) He lied to her all her life about Gorlois being her father, when in actual fact he was. He had an affair with her mother Vivienne and thus Morgana was conceived. Even when she basically told him she knew the truth, he denied her to her face. Being older, she believes she should be the rightful heir to the throne of Camelot. She also feels abandoned and upset about being lied to for her life.
3) He has grabbed her by the throat and locked her in his dungeons in chains. He has threatened her for doing what she believed right.
She has plenty of reasons and quite frankly, I believe she was pushed to the dark side by him.

How did King Arthur get to Avalon?
King Arthur was mortally wounded at the Last Battle. He had to be carried to the water's edge. His sword Excalibur was thrown to, and caught by, the hand of the Lady of the Lake. A barge then carried King Arthur to Avalon.
Not ugly at all according to the medieval tales. The Prose Lancelot often refers to Lancelot's good looks and once describes them in a long passage.
That Lancelot was ugly is an invention of T. H. White in his novel The Once and Future King.

Merlin episode 13 what did Morgana mean when she said this is only the beginning?
Well many people are still not certain whether it was a trance-like Morgana (in other words Nimeuh) or Morgana herself.
I do though think that it is morgana trying to warn Merlin to be careful because she may of had another frightning dream like the one about arthur getting bitten from the creature which she did in the very same episode she warned Merlin in. She warned Arthur so now she probably was warning him because we know she cares for Merlin and Arthur.
Basically, I really don't think it is Nimeuh because why would she warn Merlin about the dangers ahead.
Hope this helped!

What is King Arthur's sirname?
Arthur Pendragon
Surnames as we know them today only begin to appear during the middle ages; during more ancient times a man didn't always need more than one name (societies were much smaller then).
If a man needed an extra name he might take it from a clan he belonged to (Julius Caesar's real name was Gaius, Julius was his clan, and Caesar one branch of that clan) or from some special achievement of his own, or his family (Gaius Marcius became Gaius Marcius Coriolanus after spectacular bravery in the siege of Corioli. His descendants were allowed to retain the name).
King Arthur would not normally have needed a second name (everybody knew who he was), but if he wanted one he might have called himself
Arthur son of Uther
or
Arthur son of Uther son of Constantine
using the names of his father and grandfather.
In Welsh this would be
Arthur ab Uther
Arthur ab Uther ab Cystennin
But Arthur was also the Paramount King of Britain. Arthur's father had called himself Uther Pendragon (Uther the Paramount King), Arthur could also have used the name Arthur Pendragon, if he had wanted to.
Pendragon
Why does the wart attempt to pull the sword from the stone?
In the Disney animated movie The Sword in Stone, Arthur, nicknamed Wart by Merlin, is accompanying Kaye to a joust as his squire. Wart forgets Kaye's sword and is headed back to fetch it when he comes across a sword embedded in stone. Wanting to get back to the tournament as soon as possible he decides to pull the sword from the stone and take it back to Kaye. What Wart didn't realize was that this sword was placed in the stone to be pulled from the stone only by the "rightwise born King of England." Others had tried but not been able to remove the sword. Wart easily pulls the sword from the stone and is acknowledge by everyone as Arthur, King of England.

When did the first mention of Arthur appear and in what literature?
Arthur is mentioned in some early Welsh poems. However, the dates of the passages are somewhat dubious.
One of these is The Gododdin, which says that a certain warrior named Gwawrddur was of great prowess, "though he was not Arthur". Evidently Arthur was known to the poet as a famous warrior. Of course, it is possible that this might not be our Arthur.
The Song of the Graves gives the locations of the graves of many famous heroes, but also contains the stanza:
Bet y March, bet y Guythur,
bet y Gugaun Cledyfrut
anoeth bid bet y Arthur
This can be translated as:
A grave for March, a grave for Gwythur,
A grave for Gwgawn Red-sword;
The world's wonder/ difficutly (anoeth) a grave for Arthur.
Presumably this is a reference to Arthur's gave being unknown, and perhaps to the believe that Arthur lives still in the magic island of Avalon.
An elegy about a hero named Gereint contains the lines:
In Llongborth I saw Arthur's
Heroes who cut with steel.
The Emperor, ruler of our labour.
This is interpreted by some to refer to a band of warriors known as Arthur's Heroes who remained a unit after Arthur's death. However it could be just a late addition to the poem, if indeed the entire poem is not late.
A chronicle called the Annales Cambriae written in its current version at least by 970 contains two Arthurian entries:Year 72 (c. 516) The Battle of Badon, in which Arthur carried the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ on his shoulders for three days and three nights and the Britons were victors.
Year 93 (c. 537) The Strife of Camlann in which Arthur and Medraut fell [and there was death in Britain and in Ireland.] Text in brackets not in MSS. B or C.
They could be older.
The account called Historia Birttonum, usually dated to about the 8th century, contains some Arthurian material:
Then Arthur along with the kings of Britain fought against them in those days, but Arthur himself was the military commander ["dux bellorum"]. His first battle was at the mouth of the river which is called Glein. His second, third, fourth, and fifth battles were above another river which is called Dubglas and is in the region of Linnuis. The sixth battle was above the river which is called Bassas. The seventh battle was in the forest of Celidon, that is Cat Coit Celidon. The eighth battle was at the fortress of Guinnion, in which Arthur carried the image of holy Mary ever virgin on his shoulders; and the pagans were put to flight on that day. And through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and through the power of the blessed Virgin Mary his mother there was great slaughter among them. The ninth battle was waged in the City of the Legion. The tenth battle was waged on the banks of a river which is called Tribruit. The eleventh battle was fought on the mountain which is called Agnet. The twelfth battle was on Mount Badon in which there fell in one day 960 men from one charge by Arthur; and no one struck them down except Arthur himself, and in all the wars he emerged as victor. And while they were being defeated in all the battles, they were seeking assistance from Germany and their numbers were being augmented many times over without interruption. And they brought over kings from Germany that they might reign over them in Britain, right down to the time in which Ida reigned, who was son of Eobba.
The are some variations in this text in different manuscripts.
These are arguably the oldest Arthurian texts. There are other Welsh texts of dubious date.

The Mokele Mbembe is an animal residing in the category of "cryptid" or animal not yet formally documented by science. It has been described since 1776 as a large 16-30 foot grey animal with a long neck and snake like head. The creature is reported in several West African nations including Ghana, Cameroon, & The Congo. It's habitat is the deep jungle rivers (such as the Dja) and swampy lakes (such as Lake Tele). In the 1980's, scientist Roy Mackal of the University of Chicago went to the Congo to pursue and investigate the reports. He brought along pictures of animals the natives knew (crocs, hippos) and pictures of animals they did not know (bears, foxes) and a picture of a sauropod dinosaur (Apatosaurus). The villages knew the crocs and hippos, did not recognize the foxes/bears, but when the dino picture was pulled out - they immediately cried out "Mekele Mbembe". Several expeditions have followed up on Mackal, including a Japanese TV crew who filmed a large object moving in Lake Tele from the air. Some say is an animal, others men in a canoe. Mekele Mbembe is not the only dinosaur like creature reported from Africa. Another mysterious beast is known as the Emela-ntouka, an alleged animal claimed by some to be a living ceratopsian, while the mbielu-mbielu-mbielu resembles a stegasour. Also in the mix is the Kasai Rex, a two footed carnivore.
Why does Sir Accolon expect to win the fight with King Arthur?
Because Accolon had the real Excalibur and even more importantly--the scabbard. Arthur had fakes and he did not realize it until the fight began and Accolon kept wounding the king and Arthur kept losing blood. Accolon felt there was no way he could lose with the magical protection of Excalibur and the scabbard. But Arthur was too good a fighter to begin with.
Who is the father of Uther Pendragon?
Uther pendragon's father is different in different sources . In the traditional histories , he is the son of Constantine II , who himself was the son of Constantine the great . Assuming that Constantine and his wife's conception of Constantine II was on the day Constantine i died ( it could not have been later ) Constantine would have been born no earlier than 338 AD . As arthur , son of uther , was born in 479 , and his father , uther , then , presumably around 427 , it seems highly unlikely that Constantine had a child at age 89 , so most modern chronologists assume that uther 's " brother " , Constans , was really his father , Constans himself being the son of Constantine II . But constans was a monk , and therefore celibate , so there are two explanations
a. that he swore celibacy either after the death of his wife or after he had married
b. that constans was never a monk , and constans " brother " , really father , of uther , is confused with uthers true brother , Moines , which can be translated as Mynach , meaning monk . Moines's real name is unsure . Moines and Uther also had another brother , Aurelius Ambrosius , who died married and childless to Artesia .
As for these three sibling's mother , that is uncertain , but i always like to think that she was a former monk , and that is where Moines got the idea . Infact , i title their mother , Moina , literally , Female monk . I in fact invented a story where Moina has a deranged sister named Louise who wreaks havoc for the sake of a maiden named Laeria , but that is another story . I alwways pretend these siblings are a child of a monk , called Moines as well .
