No. You play as Roxas in the beginning and once he rejoins Sora, you play as Sora for the rest of the game and at the very end you control Riku for a little while, but no where in the game do you get to choose which character you play. As far as I know, no Kingdom Hearts game you really get to 'choose' what character to play the whole story through except I have heard in Birth by Sleep you choose one of the main trio and you can complete the story from their perspective, but in the end need to play all three. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days you can go into Mission Mode and choose to play a character other than Roxas but you do not complete a story, just go on Mission that you have unlocked in the story mode. I hope that made sense. :D
