I have a Generac 4000EXL generator. I was surfing the net to find what filters cross reference with the 70185 as well. I have not tried this yet, but I came across that the Fram PH3614, Fram PH 4967, Purolator 14476, and AC PF1233 should work. Good luck hope these work out for both of us.

I've used both the Fram PH3614 and PH4967. The 3614 is smaller and doesn't completely cover the filter base. The 4967 is larger and more than covers the base. I've had no leakage with either.
