They used to make laptop that are 15' with touch screen. However, they stopped year or two ago. The laptop was called HP Pavilion DV6t Select Edition. It gives you option to add touch screen. Like I said, they removed that option. They still sell the laptop. But removed touch screen and backlit keyboard.

No, it doesnt. Hibernation is the "turned off" state, but with the current tasks saved to the hard disk so they can be resumed. I have personally proven this by taking out the battery, completely rebuilding the laptop (for cleaning purposes) and rebuilding it all (took 2 days).

well i have had a problem with the disc drive on it. it will read game disks, but not programs. if anyone has a solution please call me at 841 659 4172

The Dell Inspiron Mini was not intended to be lightning fast. It is a netbook, and netbooks (unless you spend the extra money) usually only come with 1 gig of RAM with most, only being upgradeable to 2 gigs of RAM. You can purchase a variety of netbooks now with 2 gigs of ram, upgradeable to 4 gigs, which in my opinion, isn't too bad for basic everyday use, however, a netbook was never designed, nor intended for intense usage.

The materials in PC laptop computers that are recycled are the motherboard, the plastic chassis, the batteries, and especially the metal parts. Sometimes the plastic materials are difficult to simply dispose of.

well the i5 are nice and fast for everything, but they run so fast that if you play a game, and I mean a simple game you can over heat the laptop so no games even if it says 16mb video card required it gets hot. My emachines e725 sales for about $450.00 I got it on sale for 299.00. and it runs your 32mb video game just fine. Amd quad core 1gb video card you or your child could play anything you'd like, it might be a little slower getting on the Internet, but it a real heavy duty machine it sale for $529.00 for a desktop add two hundred more for laptops. Amd quad core carry a heavy load kinda like a 18 wheel semi, but it dose' beat a Corvette or i5 or a i7 or ferry, but if you got an i7 with a 1 gb of memory you spend $900-$1000 on a desk top or $1200 on a laptop. I hope I helped a little.

This is the income that the average consumer will be able to purchase. This is not the money that is available for just your product.

A 6 Cell Li battery on a netbook will last you around 5-6 hours, obviously depending on what applications/hardware your using. Maybe 4.5 if your wireless is on, and your surfing the web.. but if your just economically typing up on word.. more 5.5-6

the INTERNET is relatively easy thing to come by. there are essentially 4 things that contribute to a laptops ability to connect and surf; these are ram, possessor, wireless device, and bus speed. battery life is important to but only if you plan on spending lots of time away from an outlet, like a bus or train. any laptop that has at least 2gb ram, 2.0ghtz possessor, wireless G, and buss speed of 800mbps you will be just fine. if you are going to be watching HD movies tho i recommend getting a laptop with a good video card.

Firstly, install the right drivers (people are having issues with drivers so just look at whatever model your controller is and install drivers) MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT DRIVERS FOR YOUR O/S, NOT A EARLIER OR LATER O/S.

Yes you can leave your laptop charger on once the battery is fully charged.

however, modern Li-Ion batteries should never be run ar full capacity continuously.

We recommend either removing the battery if you plan on using your laptop for a long period of time on the mains, or let the battery run down once a week and then recharge it again to keep the molecules moving within the battery.

In my experience, the popular netbook produced by Acer, namely the Aspire One, is very unreliable.

I bought two at different times and influenced the purchase of a third. Two of these three are now defunct. The third, bought just two months ago, I am now waiting to crash.

The problem appears to be in the BIOS. It self-destructs. The symptoms are no activity and a blank, dead screen.

One Acer crashed after five weeks. One crashed after thirteen months of minimal use (perhaps a dozen times it was opened to work on).

There is no external cause. One of the crashed machines has never been exposed to the internet. The other has had minimal contact with the internet, with bona fide sites such as Microsoft.

The internet is full of chat forums and problem pages dealing with BIOS failure in these machines. Which suggests a widespread phenomenon. The solutions tendered (e.g., flashing the BIOS) do not necessarily work.

Acer 'customer support' wanted to charge me £51.99 for the privilege of sending the faulty machine to their repair centre in Plymouth. Rather steep, I thought, for postage. For that sum of money I could send a baby elephant to Aberdeen. I am presently pondering my options.

Not exactly. The T2330 is almost the same as the T5250 except for a few things. The T2330 has only 1mb of L2 cache(as opposed to 2mb on the T5250), and actually has a higher clock speed at 1.6ghz(the T5250 is 1.5ghz). The T2330 can actually perform a bit faster than the T5250 in certain processes, but for the most part should perform about equal to the T5250. The lack of cache isn't noticeable in everyday usage and only really shows if you have multiple(more than 5) programs open and going at full load, or are running very demanding games. Even then, the difference isn't on a large scale. For comparison's sake, the T5250 has a 667mhz Front Side Bus and a 9x multiplier while the T2330 has a 533mhz FSB and a 12x multiplier. Both have a TDP of 35 watts, are built on 65 nanometer process, and are Merom cores(Merom-2M cores, specifically). They are actually made from the from the same silicon imprint, but after manufacturing are differentiated by either defects in cache or some other problem causing them to not express full capability, which would be a T7250. "Pentium dual core" has become Intel's economy line name, however it's every bit as much a Core 2 Duo as an officially labelled C2D, except for half the cache.

A MacBook is a type of laptop computer made by apple (the people who make ipods). They are very good computers, except a bit more expensive than other brands of computers but i think they are worth the extra money. They are very good with creative things, like editing, music and all that. Also they use a different operating system that is not Windows, which most computers use, it uses something called Mac OSX (Mac Operating System 10) which is otherwise known as Leopard.

first, you take the screen and then smash it with a sledge hammer. Then you take the keyboard and clean it with laundry detergent. Then you turn the computer upside down and unscrew everything and take out the hardrive and fill it up with gasoline. The last step is to take it to your manufacturer and tell him that there is something wrong with my computer. He will fix it for you and reset it. (keep some cash)

The best way to unlock or reset your password would be to use the Windows Setup DVD that should have come with your laptop. If you didn't buy the computer brand new, you need to contact the person you bought it from to get the password so that you can login and change it to something you will remember. If you did buy it brand new, but don't have the Setup DVD, contact Toshiba. They can verify that it's your registered laptop and help you with resetting your password.

It depends on what kind of adapter you are speaking of. Netbooks are just smaller laptops and have many of the same ports and connections that a regular laptop would have. Chances are that it should work fine.
