well, this computer is good to be a primary computer because it's powerful, games run perfectly on it, it's got a finger scan technology for your windows account and your accounts online and it's style is great.I am now writing this answer using hp pavilion dm4, this computer is also good, by the way, another special thing about these new hp computers is that in 5 seconds you can acces internet, skype, photos, pictures, music, mail, chat, calender and games.

Laptops mostly increased because they are portable computers. And has a DVD Burner well for the ones that want one.

What is a good brand to one person is complete trash to another. It's all a matter of preference and how it all works for you, and you alone. You are the one who has to decide, based upon your knowledge, and after reading multiple reviews on the gear.

Disclaimer -- They both have their pluses and minuses and choosing between them is really a matter of personal preference weighed against the feature-sets available. You should do some research & read some reviews about the -specific models- you are considering buying.

Having worked with a lot of used equipment, I have to admit that all the 10-year-old compaq laptops ive seen seem to have survived better than all the 10-year-old toshibas. It may or may not still be the case, but compaq has always had a reputation for building a pretty sturdy portable. Toshiba on the other hand has always been more adventurous about putting in the latest greatest hardware (for better or worse) and usually has a little bit better performance machines available.

All things being equal, my personal choice is I'd go with the Toshiba.

Of course it's laptop friendly! Why wouldn't it be "laptop friendly"? If the Sims 3 didn't appeal to all computer players- laptop or no laptop- the producers of the game (EA) would lose a lot of money. It would be in their best interest to make it laptop friendly, so therefore it is. (plus, sims 1 and 2 were both laptop friendly, so why break the streak?)

sims2 wasn't laptop friendly, because they had to brig out a whol new laptop friendy range of it, because it was breaking everyones laptops, including min.
