Unfortunatlly there is no "quick" fix to this... The game requires your computer to perform at a certain level, and your graphics card doesn't support this, and software can't make your graphics card much better. Therefore, your only options are: 1. Simply don't play the game. 2. Open the README file and check the minimum requirements, then buy a graphics card that betters those requirements.

After having the same question I did some digging. It seems that it serves two purposes, the first being that it is used to map those "Special" buttons on your keyboard to a specific function. By special I mean the buttons not found on your standard keyboard (mine happen to be my multimedia buttons)

The second function...actually its more like function 1.5 because it's really the same thing as the last function. This function allows you to rewrite what was previously scripted for those buttons. A example of this is making the internet icon now open up a game instead of the internet.

Specifically those "special buttons" are the Function (Fn) + Blue Keys. For example, if the F3 button has a wireless symbol in blue...

--Then pressing Fn + F3 with LaunchManager.exe enabled, a screen will pop up giving you options to turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (if you have it).

--With LaunchManger.exe disabled, pressing Fn + F3 will simply turn your wireless capabilities on and off (and give you no option for BlueTooth)

For full functionality of an Acer machine, it is best left enabled.

It could possibly be that your hard drive got fried somehow. The only time that I have ever run into a problem like that is whenever I was stupidly messing around on my computer during a lightning storm, and an overload of power surged through my computer and fried my hard drive. All I did was replace the hard drive and install my Operating System and I was working on it again. I don't have any idea on how to replace a hard drive in a laptop, but my suggestion to you would be to call Toshiba and see if they can help you any more.

I have an IBM Thinkpad (R40e). My impression is that it is reliable, but can get bogged down fairly easily. The newer IMB laptops I have tried seem better, but also seem like they could use better processes.

In all, IBM is good, but I suggest you also look into HP and Dell.

Yes, if the system is in operation it should not have any problems in cold weather. However, a system that is stored cold may not properly boot due to lowered battery voltage and stiff lubricant in the HDD bearings.

More often than not, yes. A cheap wireless router can be just as good as an expensive one. When you look for a router check the warranties, the companies that are more willing to give a longer warranty are usually the ones that will stand behind their products. As well, sometimes staying with the same name brand for your network adapter (like on a laptop) can sometimes mesh better, but it is not a necessity.

The best way to buy a gaming laptop is in a store where one can get acquainted with different computers' functions, ask questions of the experts there, and find the computer best for one's purposes. Alternatively, one can buy a gaming laptop at many online stores.

Actually modern CCTV cameras can work with nearly every usual Laptop. the most important thing, though, is that the Laptop has a reasonable fast network interface and a fast graphics card. So as longs as one doesn't have an old-fashioned i486 processor laptop all requirements should be fulfilled.

Visit your mobile phone company website. There should be a softwara that allows you to do so. You can install Microsoft ActiveSync if your mobile phone supports it.

The motherboard or the port at least, would be blown. If you have battery power, and you get some power up, like the LCD screen or a fan turning, the motherboard is probably still viable. If you have an extra battery or can get a loan, this would help you diagnose the problem. There is a good chance that your hard drive is still viable. It is possible, if the power port let the charge into the unit, that everything is fried. Alternativly, the power port may have popped and stopped the surge of power. This can be replaced in theory, by someone with a good hand.

#2 There is nothing you can do about it. It is your neighbors configuration.

And if you want to still connect to their internet you can ask them if they could allow you to connect, you could also pay they a small monthly fee to allow you.
