The motherboard or the port at least, would be blown. If you have battery power, and you get some power up, like the LCD screen or a fan turning, the motherboard is probably still viable. If you have an extra battery or can get a loan, this would help you diagnose the problem. There is a good chance that your hard drive is still viable. It is possible, if the power port let the charge into the unit, that everything is fried. Alternativly, the power port may have popped and stopped the surge of power. This can be replaced in theory, by someone with a good hand.
Removing the Keyboard
1. Slide out the hinge covers on both sides of the notebook.
2. Use a plastic flatbladed screwdriver to remove the LCD FPC cover.
3. Slide the middle cover to the left side and remove the middle cover.
Note: To replace the middle cover, be sure that the latches are lined up
with the uppercase.

4. Lift the keyboard up, turn it over and carefully place on the palm rest to
expose the keyboard connector.
5. Disconnect the keyboard connector CN20 .

#1 What what you are trying is illegal, because you are trying to basically steal internet without your neighbors permission. It's like stealing cable.
#2 There is nothing you can do about it. It is your neighbors configuration.
And if you want to still connect to their internet you can ask them if they could allow you to connect, you could also pay they a small monthly fee to allow you.
