Is it bad to drink alcohol on Good Friday?
It is not the purpose of WikiAnswers to decide what is "bad" and what is not. That is an issue of personal morals and ethics (and, perhaps, religion).
Can you press charges against someone for keeping something you lent them?
That is a very Diverse question. If you have a pen and you say someone else can borrow it then they never give it back you wait till the next day. If they still havn't given it back then you can press charges of course for they have stolen of you!
Another View:
Private citizens can NOT "press charges!" Only a prosecutor may "press" charges.
Even though you may have freely 'lent' them something, what this person has done is "wrongfully converted" your property to their own. You may file a criminal complaint with the police, and after investigation it does not rise to the level of a criminal matter (in other words, it is a 'civil law' matter), you can sue the person in small claims court.
Is Good Friday called the passover?
No. Good Friday is Christian and always occurs on a Friday. Passover is a Jewish festival and occurs on a different day. They are usually close to each other, but not always together and they are celebrating different things. Passover is not celebrated by Christians and Good Friday is not celebrated by Jews.
How do you get back a lent item in runescape?
The lent item will be returned automatically. Depending on the options selected when lending, you will either receive it when one of the two players (lender or borrower) logs out, or after the specified number of hours (maximum 24 hours). Once the item is returned, you have to talk to a bank clerk to pick it up.
I should point out that under no circumstances will you lose the lent item. For example, if a player who borrows an item dies, the borrowed item will be protected above all other items. If he drops the item, it will still be returned automatically after the specified time.

Religious clashes between the Protestants and Catholics
Lent lasts 40 days and in that time we need to give up something that we find hard to be without, be it a food type or whatever.after the 40 days we can have this thing back in our life, we give it up because the Lord fasted for 40 days.
Why do you give up something for forty days?
you give up something for forty days because think about Jesus and how he suffered for forty days to save everyone.

What order is the Holy Week in?
Holy Week is at the very end of Lent, it consists of Palm/Passion Sunday (since 1970), Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday, Holy Wednesday, and Holy Thursday. Lent ends in the evening of Holy Thursday with the beginning of the Mass of the Lord's Supper, which, itself, begins the shortest season of the liturgical year: the Easter Triduum
- all of which is ONE LONG liturgy, thus at the end of the Maundy
Thursday Mass (Mass of the Lord's Supper) there is no dismissal. The Triduum
continues with the Passion of the Lord celebrated in the afternoon on Friday, which consists of the Passion, the Intercessions, the veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion, given from reserved Hosts from Holy Thursday. The Triduum
ends with the Easter Vigil which begins AFTER dark on Holy Saturday with the lighting of the Easter Fire: Jesus the Light of the World has arisen from the dead! The Triduum
and Holy Week are over, Easter has begun, it runs for fifty days until Pentecost Sunday with the coming of the Holy Spirit.
The lent season means to sacrifice or to give up something that you don't really need.
Why do you recognize palm Sunday?
Palm Sunday is when we celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem for Passover. We call it Palm Sunday because, while Jesus was riding the donkey into the city, his followers were waving palm branches and shouting "Hosanna, blessed be the King!"
palm Sunday- Jesus rode to Jerusalem on a donkey with his disciples.
Holy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday- Jesus spread his teachings and the authorities were frightened and scared about his religion.
Holy Thursday- the last supper, Judas disobeyed Jesus and peter denied ever knowing Jesus.
good Friday- Jesus is condemned to be crucified, Jesus is crucified and put in the tomb
Easter Sunday- Mary goes to Jesus' tomb and finds nothing but a stone moved over. Jesus rose again.
she should write on the back of cheque this is a loan to whoever and get them to sign and date it
When did holy week start and why?
Holy Week is the seven day period before Jesus was resurrected. It begins on Palm Sunday - the day which Jesus rode into Jerusalem.
All Christian Religions Celebrate Holy Week in one way or another. I do know that all Othodox religions have an entire week of prayers that go for 4 hours each night. On Friday night until Saturday morning, they have an all-night prayer service, and then on the Saturday night they have the Easter service that runs until 12:30am. But this is just Orthodox religions. Others, such as Pentacostal and Catholicism don't do such things. (They have an Easter mass of course, but I'm not sure whether it goes for as long, or whether they have prayers every night during the week)
Given, Amount=A1 =Rs 720
Time = 2 yrs
Let P=Principal
and R=Rate %
Simple Interest after 2 yrs = A1- P
Now,
720-P=(P x R x 2)/ 100
=(P x R x 2)/100 ................(I)
Next, Amount = A2 = Rs 1020
Time = 2 + 5 =7 yrs (i.e 2 + a further period of 5 yrs)
R= Rate %( same as above)
Simple Interest after 7yrs = A2- P
now,
1020-P =( P x R x 7)/100 ..................(II)
Next,
equation (I) divided by equation (II), we get
7 (720-P) = 2(1020-P)
solving it we get 5P=3000
or, P = Rs. 600.Ans.
if you want to get the value of R, substitute the value of P in either of the equation then you'll get it to be 10%.
